My Family and I moved here over a year ago from Nevada where My husband and I were seeing a Pain Management doctor in which I was prescribed Pain Medicine, a Muscle Relaxer, Ibuprofen, and also did as I was in doing 2 Steroid Injections, that did nothing for my lower back pain at all, I also have Neck Pain, this was due to a car accident that we were in 2010, I was in 3 previous car accidents prior to meeting my husband, none at my fault one i was hit by a drunk driver, I also had back pain with twins that were born 17 days earlier via C Section 7 lbs each baby, and two pregnancy that were Hell on my Neck and Back during the pregnancies.... If im taking meds for a double ear infection, how long before i start to feel better...i cant hear out of my left ear because of fluid (blood and pus) and swelling also its very painful ## Hello, Coco! The general rule for antibiotics, as reported by the NIH, is that if they are working, you shouldn't see any worsening after taking them for a full 24 hours, and you should start to see improvement after a full 3 days. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Did they give you anything for the pain?

I noticed a small lump behind my left ear Sunday. ByThursday, it was large, red, and very painful. My earlobe was swollen as well. Then I noticed the tenderness starting down the left side of my neck. I saw my Dr. yesterday and was diagnosed with cellulitis. She gave me Bactrim 800-160 twice daily. I took my two doses yesterday. When I woke this morning, my earlobe looks like it's gonna pop, the lump is no smaller and instead of just tenderness in the neck, there's swelling between the jaw and earlobe. My first injection of Prolia was in November 2013, age 72, and the second injection was early in June 2014. After the first shot I had pain in my left ankle and lower back which was diagnosed as arthritis. After the second shot the ankle pain greatly increased and my right ankle and hips are also painful, making walking difficult. Absolutely nothing relieves the pain and it's affecting my sleep. In year 1985 my wife have accident. She fell down with Jeep and her head and left eye elbow become painful. She got medicine at that time and later on she become well and good. I herniated a disc in Feb 2011 that didn't respond to a microdiscectomy, so was going thru intensive PT before deciding whether or not to do a fusion. Well, in early Dec of 2011, I came down with Guillian-Barre Syndrome, a rare syndrome where your immune system attacks your peripheral nervous system. Recovering from GBS can be extremely painful.
