I've been taking a 10 /325 norco with big V on one side and v3601 on other darker yellow. i sitched to watson 853 10/325. the watsons don't seem to work. does it take time to get used to new pill or something . please help. ## There can be differences in generic drugs, the FDA does allow them to differ, from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient(s) by as much as plus or minus 20%. Problems can arise, however, because they are only required to measure against the name brand, not against each other, therefore, when you switch from one generic to another, you may find that one doesn't work as well, because you may not be getting as much of the medication as you were in the prior one. In some cases, they may even be stronger, which could cause problems for some ... ...

THE 853 NORCO DOES NOT HELP MY PAIN AS WELL AS THE YELLOW TINTED ONES. PLUS THEY UPED THE PRICE DOUBLE. ## I used CVS for my prescriptions until last month, when I tried Walgreens to fill my script for Norco 10/325. When I saw they were white instead of yellow I thought I was given the 5/500 strength in error, since I knew those are white. I called Walgreens and was assured these Watson 853's were the exact same ingredients as the Norco 10/325. After taking my usual dosage, I was shocked to feel almost no relief....maybe 10% relief. After this happened, i went on the internet and read about others who had the same bad experience. Today when I got my new script I went back to Walgreens and told the pharmacy I wanted the other generic, NOT the Watson 853. They said that's the only... ...

personally i think, the DEA, is cracking down, i know the doctors are scared their gonna lose their license, where i live they are getting ridiculous about it! there is an epidemic, which in return is ruining it for us folks who really need the stuff to just even feel a little comfort from excrutiating pain, there is even a brand called "qualitest" for God sakes! not positive, but i believe, food and drug adm., are lowering the strength, to get american's off the drug!!!!! ## From what I've seen, Watson does have a yellow and white version of their "853" generic Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone tablets. They list the dosage as still being 325/10 in the newer white ones, however, there have been numerous complaints from patients who have tried both versions, saying tha... ...

difference between m367 and watson 853
2 Replies RSS Share
Why do they affect me differently? I can function OK and complete my work outs with M367, but the yellow Watson 853 renders me useless - they just put me to sleep. Aren't they the same ingredients? By the way, the white watson 853, though they take longer to take effect, they work ok. ## Yes, the active ingredients are the same, but there can be slight fluctuations in the amounts from one generic to another, so that may be what's affecting you. Since the one from Watson puts you to sleep, it likely has a slightly higher amount of the Hydrocodone than the other one. Learn more Vicodin details here. Normally, it should improve after a few weeks, once your body has had time to get used to the new amounts. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I've been taking hydrocodone 7... ...

what is difference ip110 and Watson 853? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? The tablet with the IP 110 is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals, the other is by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they both list them as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus, the only difference is that they are manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics. Several options are always available to create market competition and help keep prices as low as possible. White Watson 853 smaller with bluish tint
4 Replies RSS Share
My latest Watson 853s are slightly smaller, the score line a tad thinner & the color isn't as white. It looks like it's not as shiny, maybe less coating, & the color has kind of a bluish tint to the white. I had a few of my old ones to compare them to, otherwise I might not have noticed. I read on other boards that Watson had been bought by Actavis & didn't know if this was their version of the Watsons. Has anyone else noticed this? ## Hi Sheba, Did you get these from a real licensed pharmacy or are you just ordering them off the internet from overseas? Reason I ask is because Watson was in fact bought out by Actavis, but their legitimate pills are recognized as being a white, oblong, scored tablet imprinted with "WATSON 853". It is not something u would really notice without really looking at them or having one to compare it to. Would these be some kind of fake pill or geneic version. There is something very wrong with the white Watsons besides being less affective ,I get headaches sleeplessness, irritability, and dry mouth, the only thing I know is that actual Watson company pharmaceutical sold to Activis which another pharmaceutical company. this is not the same pill.
