What is the difference between the Phenergan pills marked zc 02 and gg 225 ## These are both the same medication and same dosage (Promethazine hydrochloride 25 mg). The only difference I see is that they are manufactured and/or repackaged by separate companies. Other than that, there may or may not be different inactive ingredients in the pills. If you have an allergy to certain inactive ingredients in one pill, then you can always switch to other, if that is in fact the case. Hope this information helps! It also has a score line in the center of the pill that separates GG and 225, while it remains blank on the other side.
