I am taking Cartia xt 120mg, but now the doctor added Digoxin and after a 1/2 hour I started with PVCs. Could there be interactions between these 2 drugs? ## Hello, Moni! How are you? Dear sir ' my age is 48 year ,i have lower calf stiffness problem,doctor prescribed joincerin m (diacerein,glucosamine and msm) for helping cartilage regenerate,but after taking 5 tablets I have pain in both knees upper thighs, hands.I have stopped taking dose..please help me if is this side effect then how long it will..one month pass but still pain..

My husband is taking the following medications: Olmetec 40mg + Zanidip 10mg + Plavix 75mg + Lasix 40mg + Cartia aspirin 100mg; 1 each morning. He is also taking: 2 Panadol Osteo 5mg x 3 times daily + 1 Pregabalin 25mg + 1 Vytorin 10/40mg at night. All prescribed by his GP. He had a triple bypass in 2014; stents 1 in Feb, 2 in Nov 2016; Radical prostectomy for cancer in 2006; Radiation for secondary cancers in 2009; Neurosurgery for a subdural hemorrhage in 2013. He has had breathing problems and used inhalers off and on for 4 years (is now off these). He does have asbestos fibers in his lungs, but thankfully no major problems there. But he is having problems with tiredness throughout the day and is constantly sleeping. Is this due to the mixture of drugs he is on now?

Iecently been told by my pharmacy that Cartia xt is no longer on the market. My physician precribed Dialtiazen as a replacement. I was taking Diltiazem 120 24 HR. I just filled my prescription at Safeway and they gave me Cartia XT SR 24 hour 120. Is this the same? ## Yes, that's just a name brand for the same medication. If Cartia XT has been discontinued what is the best replacement for it? ## I am still taking Cartia XT...h however I feel nauseated like I'm going to faint I have body aches constipation depression muscle weakness and hoarseness. And looking up the side effects of Cartia all of that on there. I'm trying to be informed about replacement drugs and what can be substituted for Cartia. My husband has been taking amlod/benazp for hypertension. He also has lost most of the cartilage in one hip, which gives him MUCH pain, especially with prolonged sitting/getting up. He is on an anti-inflammatory, and recently discovered his Vit D is extremely low, and has been supplementing that. He forgot his b/p pill 3 days ~ bad boy! I'm on flecainide 50mg 2 times daily and diltiazem 120mg once daily. I was put on this from a paroxysmal afib event I had in January of this year. I feel this regime is too big of a gun for the problem. I'm tired all the time and lost my get up and go. Dr did say in my last appointment that I could get off it.
