Has anyone used the new SUPREP kit before a colonoscopy? Would like any comments about taste, ease or side effects. Thanks! ## The Suprep kit contains sodium sulfate, magnesium sulfate and potassium sulfate, it is used for bowel preparation. It basically works as a laxative. I can't think that combo would taste very well, though I have never used it. The most common listed side effects are: cramping, nausea, vomiting and abdominal discomfort. Does anyone else have anything to add? ## Sulfates have a bitter taste, hence the development of PEG bowel cleansing products without sulfate such as Nulytely or Trilyte. Does $90.00 sound right for 2 bottles and one cup? ## Suprep is a bowel prep kit that works by cleaning out your bowels for medical procedures, it contains: sodium sulfate, potassium sulfate, and magnesium sulfate. And it is a name brand product that is fairly new to the market, so that price isn't surprising. Are there any other comments or questions? ## The price is out of sight, since the ingredients are inexpensive and the plastic container is also cheap. I found a pill and not quite sure what it is. I think it may be an antibiotic, but could be a form of Vicodin. It is oblong and white, but it is bigger and says GG N7. what is the drug study ofVamin Glucose 500cc? ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. I was however able to locate limited information about this medication. It is available to use by method of injection. And the ingredients in Vamin Glucose include the following: - Amino Acids - Calcium Chloride - Dextrose Anhydrous - Magnesium Sulfate - Potassium Chloride - Potassium Hydroxide - Sodium Hydroxide I'll be sure to post back if I am able to locate anymore info on this.
