I am a chronic pain patient and have been on 30 mg of oxyfast (liquid oxycodone) every 3 hours for the past two years. I had gastric bypass several years back and have had every complication you can probably think of. I have had several surgeries since and in and out of the hospital for failure to thrive, muscle atrophy, etc. I also have severe Arthritis in both of my knees, hands, and spine. I was in a nursing home for 30 days last year at this time wheel chair bound and 30 pounds underweight. They placed a central PICC line in my chest for TPN. I thought I had my life back until I went to my routine PM doc appt. 2 weeks ago. My normal doctor left the practice in March and I have been seeing a PA. Generic oxycodone solution is available. ## Jules, your information is wonderful and thank you so much for helping out. In the future, though, it would be even better if you could provide the dosage information. I just want to add that here, so I will let you know this is a 30mg tablet. And also, this WOULD NOT be a generic for OxyFast, because this is NOT an instant release tablet, it is just a regular release one. This is a very potent narcotic pain reliever.

This is a regular release, narcotic pain reliever, thus it has many side effects, potential dangers, and can be very addictive. If you are not tolerant to narcotics, it will be very dangerous to suddenly take this high of a dosage of Oxy.

I need to knoe the 30mg oxycodone 30mg. what is titrstion to oxycontin 80 mg. and what is oxycodone fast? answere asap ## The one that is just called Oxycodone, would be a regular release formulation. A generic for Roxicodone, this means it takes time to dissolve in your stomach and enter your body to start working, usually about 15 to 20 minutes. Oxycontin is a time released formulation of the same medication. It is taken every 12 hours to treat chronic and severe pain. The OxyFast or OxyIR means that it is designed to start releasing the medication as soon as you swallow it, to help get pain relief much faster. Do you have any other questions?

I have reverse swan neck and it has caused 3 herniated discs in my neck. I currently take 3 10 mg percocets daily and 2 20 mg opana ER's. I'm not really getting the relief I'd like.
