I tried Cardizem right after my stroke. I felt calm. My BP was good. First I was on Digoxin , which made me crazy. Then I was on Metropol . Neither stopped my A fib. Then I took the Cardizem, but had to quit it because of my insurance. I also tried Cartia and Verapamil. I had heart palpitations and didn't fell Google's. I just got Cardizem approved and am taking it for 5 days. My heart rate is high now ( not the first time) and I feel dizzy, depressed, and fatigued. Do you think the dosage is too high? ## Those can be normal side effects, when starting a new medication in this class, according to the FDA. I've moved here to Palm Harbor Fl in July from Mi. I've been with Walgreens for yrs with this. In Oldsmar, Fl the walgreens on tampa rd always filled them. I moved over to palm harbor, trying to stay in the laws. I used a walgreens here, big mistake. Just had back surgery. My blood pressure has been low so I stopped taking the diltiazem and cut the lasix in half to 40 mg plus the inspra 25 mg. That said, if it was obtained from a U.S. pharmacy, then it is good, by law, for one year from the date you had the prescription filled. I have a cough, wheezing chest and congestion, I've been taking OTC cold and cough for 3 days with no luck curing this condition. I have some Amox/K Clav 500mg left over form an other infection...will this work on what I now have? ## Hi Mike, I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. Amox/ K Clav (Amoxicillin + Clavulanate Potassium) will only help if the cough you are experiencing is caused by an upper respiratory infection. You could take the medication, but if it doesn't work the cough probably just needs to run its course. If I can recommend anything, it would be the essential oils Peppermint, Lavender, and Copaiba along with honey to sooth the throat.
