I am a recovering addict who recently relapsed on opana er. I had to take a drug test recently but had 14 days clean. The test was for probation and I was wanting to know the detection time frame if its sent to a lab? I think the cut off is 300 ng/ml. Help please

I go to the doctors on Monday at 9am. I am going to a suboxone doctor and I am addicted to Opana 40mg. I have been on them for a year and I usually take 1 per day. I am a heavy set woman, I dunno if weight has anything to do with it. If I stop on Saturday night, will I pass a piss test for my appointment the following Monday? Is there anything I can do or drink that will improve my odds?

i have a urine screening coming up for my doctor. he prescribes me percoset, or however it is spelled, sorry lol. i sniffed an opana on saturday and took the urine screening on monday. i need to test positive for percoset, which i took monday morning, and negative for opana. or need to know if opana would show up differently on the urine screening as percoset. i have looked on a few sites and seem to keep finding many different answers on what opana shows up as. thank you i very much appreciate any help with this.

did u sniff em or eat em? if you ate em drink tons of water and you might have a chance. if you sniffed em you should be all set they're like out in a day if u sniff pills. i know from experience with pills and drug tests haha.

no it doesnt show up as oxymorphone it shows up as an opiate who ever told you that doesn't know what they're talking about. i know im an urine dianylist

If you sniffed it, it will be out of your system in less than 48 hours. I know as I am prescribed them and it didn't show up in my urine test because I ran out a day before my appt. Good luck

Opana is a narcotic pain medication containing the active ingredient Oxymorphone.

For a urine test, it will be out of your body wiithin approximately 48 to 72 hours.

If you are taking it by prescription, though, you shouldn't have to worry about it and should just inform them when you go to have the test done.

Opana will not show up as Oxymorphone on your urine test..it depends on what kind of stick test you take..I get tested every friday for my Subutex and I take a 14 stick test which is the highest and the only opiates that show up are Morphine, Codeine, or my Buprenorphine..if its a 14 Opana will show as Morphine, any less will just come up as Opiates.

I take 20mg Opana. I need to know how long Opana is present in the body. One post here said it could take 48-72 hours and another said it only stays in the body for 24 hours! I need to know because my pain doc tested me and I was out of the Opana, having took the last one at least 24 hours before the test. Am I in trouble?

I percribed 4 opana 40mg a day. and iv been on them for 2 years, and te still artn helping much anymore i need my mg upped, but depending on wat mg and how mush u take determains how long it will stay in your system, but usualy you will be good for sure no matter how much u take by 4 days. when my dr drug tests me he can see exactly how much of it is in my systen so make sure u dont take more than yer spose to 4 days b4 a drug test

If oxycodone and oxymorphone show up as an opiate, then there wouldn't be a test separately for opiates and oxycodone. I****. You can use oxy and piss clean for opiates. That's WHY there are two different tests. Patients of mine who use oxycodone or oxymorphone test positive for oxy but clean for opiates. Oxymorphone shows up as oxycodone because oxyM metabolizes to oxyC. Stays in your system 3 days (water soluble).

all opiates last 3 days. so if u did it that night, wait 3 nights later, than the next morning u should be clear :)

To Brian; learn how to read buddy, please tell me what I put in my post that you did not say! You wrote the same exact stuff! I can answer any question that is asked about this medication considering It is required to sit in a 6 hr lecture with King Pharm. Before prescribing it & 30% of my patients are prescribed it. Also, to everyone whom abuses this medicine: starting feb. 2012 King Pharm. Is changing the formula the same as Purdue Pharm. Changed Oxycontin, so thanks again for forcing another good medicine to change for the worse. You guys are making it hard for me to treat my patients that need these medicines & I'm not hypocritical I fully understand physicians like myself have a huge hand in causing so many addicts,though we use our best judgement in whom we prescribe it to & we cannot always help what them patients do with it once they get it in their hands though we try. & yes Brian I'm very happy to call myself a physician it feels good to help and educate people whom really need it!

Opana is Oxymorphone. It is not a combination of oxycontin or oxycodone and morphine. It's a totally different drug. The only relation is that oxycodone is metabolized partially by the liver into oxymorphone. Common misconception. People need to understand what they are talking about before speaking! You are giving out the wrong information and keeping the cycle going. Don't educate when you are uneducated yourself.
