Is it common for this medication to make me so drowsy that I just want to sleep when taking it?

Methylphenidate is a stimulant, used most commonly to treat ADHD and Narcolepsy.

That said, Mikey, NO, it should actually cause the complete opposite, one of its most common side effects is INSOMNIA.

Have you tried speaking to your doctor about this?

Other side effects can include: nausea, irritability and weight loss.
