I HAD CANCER IN AUGUST 2004; REMOVED UPPER RIGHT LUNG 1/3; HAVE HAD PAIN EVER SINCE. MY NERVES GREW INTO MY MUSCLE. I HURT VERY MUCH. I HAVE BEEN ON NORCO FOR ELEVEN YEARS. ALSO TAKE KLONOPINS FOR ANXIETY. SOMETIMES I THINK I CANT BREATH AND HAVE AN ATTACK. I TAKE ZOLOFT FOR DEPRESSION. MY ONLY CHILD WAS SHOT AND DIED IN 2005. I worked in physical therapy for 25 years and had to give it up in 2009. My house burned down in 2009; lost every thing. One of my sisters had a heart attack and it took them 30 mins to get her back. She is in a nursing home. Another sister just died march 15th, 2015 of a heart attack. I have lost both parents, my only child, a daughter was shot and died. I am an angry person. I hate life. I have no one but my husband. I do what I can. I have been on these medicines for 11 years. I am doing fine with these medicines. I want to stay on them. l confessed to my doctor of 11 years that I tried medical marijuana one time and he wanted me to take a drug panel right then. I was just being honest. I didn't know he would want a drug panel right then. I have not done it since he would not give me my pain meds and I have been very sick and in pain. My husband had the flu and then gave it to me. I need help fast so I can get out of bed and dress myself.

Hi Karen!
Have you found a Dr willing to treat you? What part of Ohio do you live? I'm in NE Ohio, between Cleveland & Youngstown, 5-10 miles from the PA border. I've experience with Pain Management in the area. Hopefully, you're taken care of by now!

Been in pain since 97-98 and two back surgeries in 2004, then breast cancer in 2015. And to no avail finding another doctor to treat me and I have no idea what to ask or how to ask for help for my pain when you were doing things for yourself to not being able to do anything for me or my granddaughter. She has cerebral palsy. She doesn't understand why mama can't cook or feed her or help with her daily needs I hurt so bad that that is all I think of. I would love to get back where I was at in May. I wasn't going anywhere special but to church but being able to enjoy my granddaughters. I need help bad and quick and to see the nut doctor you have to wait a month or two I think that the government wants us to kill ourselves from pain. You can have so much pain that you think it would be better off dead. I'm just about to that point. How do you ask another doctor for help?! Please let us know.

Hi, my doctor just dropped me from the pain management program after five years of prescibing percocet 10 mg. I live on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio but willing to travel on the West side. If any one knows of a doctor that prescibe this opiates, please share it with me. I will be deeply appreciative.

Dr Gregory Figg in Westerville Ohio treats pain and prescribes pain medication. Of course he requires past history from doctors, test results, and he'll run tests of his own.

My question to you is when they stop prescribing them to you in the future even all those extras you have will run out. The Withdrawl will be hell. No doctor will continue a script indefinetly unless you have an end stage diagnosis or if your a stage 4 cancer patient.
