Hello, Brenda! How are you?

Tylenol 3 contains Codeine and Acetaminophen, so it would best not to mix these medications, unless your doctor approves. It could create the risk of overdose, especially in someone that isn't opiate tolerant.

The FDA classiness this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Wondering how long to wait between doses or if I can switch pain meds from hydromorphone to Tylenol 3 (because the hydromorphone gives me anxiety)?
