Are butazoladine (a very old med) and budesonide related at all. My husband was prescribed budesonide but has a history of anaphylactic rxn to butazoladine as a child. He was hospitalized for 4 days with systemic shutdown. I wanted to know if they were related drugs or not

Can you please inform me how you got a prescription for butazoladine. I have bursitis in my shoulder and was told that it would cure the problem. I thank you for your assistance.
