Has anyone tried it?

Can you use methadone or opiates on this drug? Also how long does it last in your system? Also would two 8 mg strips a day work for for someone like me. I've been addicted to methadone and herion sine i was 17 yrs old, i am now 33 yrs old and want to make changes. Its been off and on. I have had nice jobs and done good at points in my life. However mostly always on methadone. Please respond . I also am concerned about my pain. Will this drug block my pain?

I tried one of these yesterday for first time. Tasted wonderful and feels like the same as 8 mg film. I come to the conclusion they put a mint flavor to help with nadeau. Since mint helps calm nadeau and a lot of people hate the sublingual taste of film and nasty taste of subutex. They have 5.7 in bup which is why you feel less. And the strips have 8. Idk maybe take 1 1/2. Our it could be your tolerance as everyone knows you develop tolerance quickly on these meds. Yeah thought one did me good and I took on 2 mg Xanax with my cup of coffee and feel nice. Ready for the day. That's all I need.

I feel the same way, suboxone is so much better. I started zubsolv 6 days ago. I have been taking suboxone for 5 years now, 8 mg film 2 a day, and I truly miss it. Zubsolv doesn't have the same effect but I did get frequent headaches on suboxone too. I can't say that suboxone was the cause of my headaches either I guess time will tell. I only switched because my insurance wouldn't cover the full price anymore and I had to pay 80% toward the medication! I'm truly thinkn of just paying the cost for them so I can go back to the way things were. Sometimes the savings just isn't worth it. Maybe I just need to get use to these just like I needed to get use to suboxone after being addicted to percocets. Is any one else having this same issue? Do these get better? Am I just feeling this way because it's all in my head? I mean they do work but not as good as suboxone where it lasted longer.

So I have been on zubsolv for a month now...at my last appointment I told my doc that I didn't feel that it lasted very long...he told me it as in my head....been feeling not myslef lately and I think its the zubsolv. I felt much more normal on suboxone films than the zubsolv. Seems like I'm not the only one. I just don't like that my doc said it was in my head that it didn't last as long.....as much as I like the menthol and the fast dissolve I still think I might switch back. Plus now that it is a new year there are more restrictions on that $75 coupon....I got 14 pills and they only took off $35....so kinda pissed about that as well. What can you do though....I did find a $50 coupon for suboxone films though!

I was taking suboxone 8 mg tabs 2 a day and the doc switched me to these I think they work better and last longer my girl takes sub's to and she Is switching to these she thinks they r better the savings is just a added bonus

Hello I just got switched from suboxone to this new medication zubzolv I was previously on 1-8 milligram film a day and now its 5.7mg/1.4mg but was told that the 5.7mg is same as an 8mg film witch makes no sense to me if its the same thing as an 8 milligram film then why not mak the zubzolv in a 8 milligram form? Today is my second day on this new med and I do not feel the effects it not happy only good thing is the cost anx they say " you get what you pay for" and I picked up only a 10 day supply and only cost me $10 with the $75 savings not good at all sorry...

I am on them as of right now 4-5 days. I was on subutex b/c suboxone caused me severe headaches (my Dr. says its illegal to write for subutex now which is the same thing he told me when the strips first came out. But what can you do?) I haven't experienced any horrible side effects from them as of yet. The only thing I have found that I really don't like is the menthol flavor. I hate menthol, but if you don't mind that then you might give them a try. They dissolve within about 30-60 seconds so that helps a lot. You don't have to sit waiting forever for it to dissolve.

Hey all... just wanted to let anyone that is on the zubsolv that you can use the $75 discount card up to 6 times per script. I thought my Dr. was crazy when he told me that. You will have to break your script up, for 12 pills it would have been $85 but with the card it only cost $10. That was only four days worth for me so I went back to CVS 4 days later and had them do another 12 and it was only $10 again with the coupon. Make sure to tell the pharmacist every time or they won't run it. I had to explain it to mine both times so far but it has worked. If my Dr. hadn't told me to break it up the pharmacy wouldn't have known. He told me to get $75 at a time but I just go ahead and get a full 4 days worth. Good luck to everyone!

Just switched yesterday from suboxone films to this new zubsolv and I love it. The suboxone made me nauseated every morning when I had to take it. I dreaded it; now I don’t mind taking it at all. Also I have noticed no changes at all. I will never go back. But it’s only been 48 hours so that could change but so far I am so thankful for this new med. instead of $800/month it’s $700/month. Big savings if we are thinking long term. Now this is only cheaper because of a $75 off coupon for cash payers. This coupon could expire and not be refurbished at any time, however for now this is helpful. Good luck to everyone. And I will say I have not looked back and I have been ten months without a single pill and I used so much every day. I was very dependent. I hope I never go back.

Yeah, this stuff SUCKS. I just got switched (from 1 8/2mg Sub film a day) to 5.7/1.4mg Zubsolv. I cannot tell that any bupe whatsoever was in the pill.
I feel lousy every morning until i took my film (I take half when I wake and the other half on my lunch break, so 1/2 a film makes me feel 100% better/normal).
I took half the pill, waited 45 mins.....nothing (film takes 5-10 mins tops).
Took the other half and four hours later still nothing. Nothing.
Called my doc and was immediately switched back.
The savings are NOT worth it guys...

I tried also. Not as potent. Did feel a burn in my mouth that was previously referenced. I thought this was supposed to be better? Is anyone else having the same experience.

Hello,

Based on my research, Zubsolv is a medication that contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine + Naloxone. This medication is intended for the treatment of Opioid dependance.

Buprenorphine is a semi-synthetic opioid that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages, to control moderate acute pain in non-opioid-tolerant individuals in lower dosages, and to control moderate chronic pain.

Common adverse drug reactions associated with the use of buprenorphine are similar to those of other opioids and include:

Nausea and vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, memory loss, cognitive and neural inhibition, perspiration, itchiness, dry mouth, miosis, orthostatic hypotension, male ejaculatory difficulty, decreased libido, and urinary retention.

Naloxone is an opioid antagonist medication developed by Sankyo in the 1960s. It is used to counter the effects of opiate overdose, but is also specifically used to counteract life-threatening depression of the central nervous system and respiratory system.

Possible side effects include:

Change in mood, increased sweating, nausea, nervousness, restlessness, trembling, vomiting, allergic reactions such as rash or swelling, dizziness, fainting, fast or irregular pulse, flushing, headache, heart rhythm changes, seizures, sudden chest pain.

Naloxone has been shown to block the action of pain-lowering endorphins which the body produces naturally. The likely reason for this is that these endorphins operate on the same opioid receptors that naloxone blocks.

tried it yesterday, really good in my opinion a big step forward, easy to use and you get rid of the hideous aftertaste. Haven't noticed any difference in strength.

Ya, I got it yesterday. I'm not really digging it. I have taken both suboxone 8mg tabs, and strips. This does not seem to be near as strong to me. Its only been a day so maybe it will get better. But, its suppose to be great for takin effect quicker? And it burns the shiznikks out of my mouth!
