Pill Imprint T192 - Oxycodone? (Top voted first)

Updated

I have alleged Oxycodone pills that I'd like to verify. When broken in half and wet, they turn blue, with darker blue spots. They have T192 on one side and a line in the center.

T192 pill white with blue specks. Supposed to be 5mg oxycodone, but my usual dose is (2) 5mg. Can I take 2 of these? Are they immediate release? My pill has a line on the back but pill identification websites only show T192 and a blank back without a line. Also this pill turns blue when I take it. What's going on?

I was prescribed oxycodone 5mg with the stamping of T192 on the drug. I've noticed that this particular brand of Oxycodone does not kill the pain and it's almost like taking a placebo. What can you tell me about this brand of supposedly oxycodone?

Yes. Can you please tell me why the T192 pill turns blue and pasty like when wet or moist? I'm weary of the blue as I have never seen this. Thank you.

I just got these T192 Oxycodone pills. They’re from Camber Pharmaceuticals. I think they are new to the market. Upon research of this new generic Percocet, I’ve heard more negative than positive reviews. The main complaints being they’re not really effective in relieving pain compared to other generics. Another main complaint is it causes discomfort in the stomach and nausea. I just took one 10 mins ago, so I’ll be able to see how they really work. My previous brand of the 5/325 generic Percocet was made by Actavis and it worked decently. I was on those for 19 months until Walgreens just switched to the Camber brand a few weeks ago, probably to save money so they can profit more money, with no concern of the patient in mind. Only money matters when it comes to pharmacies and Big Pharma.

I've also been prescribed the generic Percocets manufactured by, Camber Pharmacy. On December 29th. I've had major side effects too! I've been on and off pain meds since 1991. And, have never, never had any side effects! Especially, constipation. And, never, never experienced nausea! Currently, I've been on Percocets for the last 13 months. Around 9 pm on the 29th of December I felt really nauseous. Which led me to my toilet where I threw up for 2 minutes. I thought I caught a bug. By Wednesday, I went to an urgent care center and was treated for a stomach virus and prescribed Zafron for my nausea. The next day I realized I had t had a bowel movement in 5 DAYS! (I've taken Metamucil since my 20's and knew that it was out of the ordinary.) By Sunday I went back to the urgent care still nauseous and had not had a bowel movement in four days. This time I informed them that I noticed this script was weird. A bad taste in my mouth, like Predizone. And, the bill was blue with T 192 on one side. It took the nurse practitioner 5 minutes to find any information on the drug. And, she informed me about being new and manufactured by Camber Pharmacy. She recommended Mir-lax for the constipation. Or, Dulcalax. I took both. And, ended up taking 20 Dulalax over a 10 day period, which led me to the ER where I had a cat scan on my stomach. And, was diagnosed an infected stomach lining from so many Dulcalax. When I took this last script to Walgreens, I mentioned this to the technician and was told Walgreens prescribed that Percocet because of a NATIONWIDE shortage of the other generic Percocet. C'mon' MAN!!!!! When I went to my pain management doctor she had never heard of Camber. And, was also upset with, Walgreens. I have two questions and would love to bread some responses to my ORDEAL. I saw at Cambers website they listed ALCOHOL as an ingredient to this drug? Is that true? And, an antidepressant is also included in the ingredient. Is that true? Thanks.

I have been taking oxycodone/acetamenophen 10/325 mg for 10 years. have been getting Actavis ones at Walgreens for years. They just changed to one from Camber. Did you know their company is out of India? I looked it up and their own web sites states that. It does a terrible job in curbing my pain AND gives me a headache and nausea. I suppose Walgreens is getting a better deal. I feel I have no recourse. Frustrated and scared I will have to live like this.

I guess they were no better or worse for my pain in comparison to other brands. I did learn however, that drinking water only works best when taking these. They dissolve almost immediately and I drank a soda big mistake it was almost foamy.yuk....best wishes

The 5mg ones do have a score on the back. I'm told that the 2.5mg ones are the ones that do not have a line.

I’ve been going rounds with my local Walgreens about this Camber OxyContin. I’ve spoke to multiple supervisors, and pharmacists trying to get my Activis Brand back in stock. The Camber brand made me deathly ill with vomiting and diarrhea. A person contacted me from Camber and said due to the high volume of complaints, they’d be removing the Blue #1 dye from their Oxys. But I also noticed the pills are very weak compared to Activis. This war on pain meds is affecting legitimate chronic pain sufferers. Meanwhile all the junkies continue to get their meds off the street, illegally and are killing themselves. Thanks Junkies!

Re: No to pain meds (# 17) Expand Referenced Message

They have blue dye in them just as an identifying agent not an abuse deterrent. There are NO abuse-resistant features to this meds however they have been known to cause many issues with stomachs and other issues with them not working. This company is from India and has been known for some time to be horrible with their meds and have had many lawsuits due to medications causing harm. They are new into the oxycodone market and seriously I would not trust them ever and this is why I will always write on all the scripts I give out "Do not fill with Camber Pharma" to make sure my patients don't have to deal with this company.

Re: Jess (# 34) Expand Referenced Message

There is no abuse deterrent in these meds it's for simple identifcation purposes by pharmacists. These meds are horrible and there is thousands of complaints with these. So please if you don't know really what's going on then do not answer as it makes the internet folk look even more stupid.

Re: No to pain meds (# 17) Expand Referenced Message

Thats gotta be the dumbest thing ive heard. The blue is a binding agent that doubles as a blocker to prevent people from IV drug use

Re: Shan (# 13) Expand Referenced Message

I know this post is old and the original people posting may not read this but it may help new readers. I for one like to take my pain meds with a little bit of soda. I find that it works way better when taken with the caffeine in the soda. Coke is the best soda to take with it for me anyway. I also like to take on an empty stomach and than eat some protein maybe 15-20 minutes after I take the med. I’ve got it down to a science since I’ve been on them for many many years. Although since the so called opioid crisis, I’ve noticed that the meds absolutely SUCK!! They don’t work as well at all and do feel like placebos on most days. And no I have not built up a tolerance cuz my dose was recently changed not long ago. I also work in a pharmacy and have heard this complaint quite a bit! They are doing something to the pain pills and making them way less effective!! We need a whistle blower to let people know just what exactly is going on!!
