Is Ketosteril A Drug To Avoid Dialysis (Page 2)

A 70 yr old lady lost the efficiency of both kidneys and was advised dialysis. But again doctors suggested to take KETOSTERIL for a month and can be observed for improvement of kidney function.Will the above named drug avoid dialysis ?

My Father creatnine levels were 8.63 when i approached a nephrologist and he suggested dialysis. Since then my father has gone thru 4 dialysis but creatinine levels continue to rise and sustain the level of 7.2 to 8.60.

Medicines as prescribed:

Linagliptin Trajenta
Folic Acid
Shelcal (Calcium)
Bicasule
Pan D acid

Is it ok if we try Ketosteril 600 mg trice a day to avoid Dialysis for sometime.

Hi Doctor,

My mom has undergone CABG & Right Carotid Stenting last year. As a routine checkup, we found her creatnine level is 4.22.

We have consulted a nephrologist & he advised below medicine:

1) ketosteril thrice daily
2) nephrovid twice daily
3) nephro Cp powder
4) Hepatitis B vaccination course
5) Amryl 1mg (diabeties)

Request you to plz advise, is this the right approach to deal with..? She is already taking 17 tabs daily for neuro & heart related medication.

Plz let me know urgently, if we can discuss this..?

My sister suffering from polycystic kidney disease. Her diagnosis was recent. She is under treatment and takes dialysis 2 times in a week. Now her medical report is as below:

Creatinine 9.8
Blood Uria 140
Heamoglobin 6.5
Urine protein ++
Pus cell plentyoff

Hi ,my husband is 45 with gouty arthritis for 20 yrs..not dm or hypertension. His crea is already 7.6, uric acid 600, hb is 94, sodium 142, potasium 4.3 bun is high also calciium is slightly low..pls advise me asap if i can give him ketosterile to avoid or delayed dialysis..thanku

My father heart patients suger and now ckd patients he is old 58 year cretnie level 7.4 urea 57 and some reports normal he use ketostril 2tab 3 time but he is uneasy.and today swelling foot.plz reply me

My bro is suffering from ckd with high cr.12 and urea 70 , but we are giving him ayurvedic treatment.
So can we prescribed ketosteril tab to avoid him to dialysis but in present we are not doing dialysis from 20vdays ?
Is there will be side effects for him ?

My creatinine level is 7.3. It is increasing and I had controlled my BP. It is 120/90. Age 33. I am taking medicine as follows:

1. Amtas 10mg a day.
2. Aticard 50mg a day.
3. Tor 10mg a day.
4. Fosbait 250mg twice a day.
5. Prazopress 2.5 a day.
6. Fstate 40mg a day.
7. Iron tab twice a day. As per nephrologist Dr. mahesh raj sigdel.

Is it better to take ketestoril tablet to reduce creatinine level?

My uria level is 125. And my potassium, sodium, sugar etc. are within range.

My wife started Ketosteril 2 tabs 3 times a day on the advice of a doctor of a very reputed hospital in Delhi. Her creatinine level rose from 1.74 to 2.75 and the doctor reported a 75% spoiling of her kidney from 25%.

Sir my mother is suger patient and blood pressure..her creatinine is 7.7 and blood urea is 139..she is taking salver 400 mg thrice a day and ketostril thrice a day can't it will prevent her from dylses

My mother is suffering from kidney problem.First she had uti doctor gave antibiotic now ok.creatinine level is 3.81&urea is 64.advise by doctor ketosteril still in use will go for above mentioned test.after 3 days .After uti treatment urinesuddenly stopped given lasix20mg for urination well urine started
Now at present passing urine without lasix.She is not on dialysis. Please advise what is this stage ketroresil medicine is still being taken as per doctor.

my creatinine level is 1.12. My doctor put me on Nephro caps besides hypoglacemic and anti hypertensive drugs. Is this sufficient to bring down my creatinine level to normal range?

my creatinine is 1.12. I have been put on Nephrocaps, Ryzodeg Inj.26 units in morning and 30 units in night, Novaraoid 16 units before lunch, Zoryl-M2 morning and night and Tazloc 80 in the morning and PPrazopressxl5 in the night, Atorfit10 and concord5 in the night.Is this prescription help me in keeping the creatinine under control and damage to my kidneys.
