I have a great job, one i hope to retire from. I work for a very major automobile manufacturer. I had a very minor incident driving a vehicle in the plant. It requires a drug test that had no problem taking due to being prescribed adderall the entire time employed there and have passed 2 drug tests for minor incidents with adderall on my medical chart. after the last test, I decided I would try vyvance, (another ad/hd treatment) from a friend, without a prescription, only because i wasnt going to be driving again for several weeks and would be out of my system long before that. as luck would have it, they gave me a random drug test that night! ...is the lab gonna detect the difference and fire me?!?

You should be fine if it was just a random test for work? Is shows positive for amphetemines and the chemical make up are so similar that they don't question it. However, u should expect a call asking for a current prescription so have ur bottle handy

I'm in the same boat, they sent mine for confrimation and I'm prescribed 20mg vyvance but took an adderall, I'm really hoping they don't look for the adderall

Am prescribed 60 mg vyvanse I took adderall and had to take a urinalysis the same day. It was sent to the lab. Will the lab be able to tell difference in adderal and vyvanse? I think they usually just determine that its amphetamine and then ask for proof of prescription? Am I wrong?

I myself was taking 50mg of Vyvanse but it seemed it wasn't lasting all day. Therefore my Dr said that adults prefer Adderall over Vyvanse being that u can take Adderall "WHEN NEEDED" since it is instant release. So I began taking 12.5mg (twice) daily and I'll be damned if I dont notice a BIG DIFFERENCE. I was also schooled on the fact that its not necessary that I must take two 25mg to equal the same 50mg Vyvanse dose. Long story short, believe it or not, IT WORKS MUCH BETTER. Its been several days Ive only takin "JUST ONE 12.5mg" and that was it "ALL DAY".. And also YES I DO have a strong tolerance for meds. Its nothing Im proud of BY NO MEANS but Ive been taking 100mg of Methadone for 7yrs now due to a car accident and Ive been dabbing in meds and drugs since around 13 or so. "SAD BUT TRUE".. But regardless of that, I only let it b known so that if my reply can help someone they can also know that YES this person has a high tolerance as well.. But anyways, back to the point of the Adderall v.s Vyvanse, YES "FOR ME" Adderall works MUCH BETTER and I can take it AS NEEDED and YES IT LAST A WHILE and NO I CANNOT TELL A DIFFERENCE being that it is ONLY HALF THE DOSE of the Vyvanse.. Hopefully you can find the correct Med and Dose that helps you as well but dont b nervous when the Dr tells you that we can try Adderall, then say 10-20mg and u want to LAUGH AT EM and your thinking that s*** sure wont help. GIVE IT A SHOT, IT WORKED FOR ME and worked/works VERY WELL... And DO NOT CHEW EM' UP, lol... I'm a pil chewer :-/..... But also YES, swallowing it whole seemed to make a difference as well. Good Luck, hope I was at least a lil help and I hope u find what works and that u have a Dr. who listens to u and doesn't think that Meds work how the book says they do and work the same on everyone. Was your drug test sent to a lab? I am in the same boat I'm prescribed Adderall and I have taken Vyvanse also be my 20mg is not enough so I'm waiting on them to increase me and my doc sends it off to a lab. Where they analyze it not just a panel test.

Any idea where I can get prescribed vyvanz with or adderall till my file goes through? Just moved from Michigan to Az. I have my empty bottles to prove. Any help as I use it for ADHD and exhaustion due to multiple sclerosis. I need to function and waiting for an appointment that is over a month away is just not gonna cut it

I have a drug test coming up and I'm afraid I won't pass it. I was wondering if there was a way to add an opiate to someone's urine after they've already given the sample? I have someone with clean urine, but to pass my test, I must have oxycontin and/or oxycodone. any ideas?

On probation taking test today prescribed dexadrine. I ran out and took vivance. Will it show on test that I took the vivance. Single dad three kids. I don't abuse. My home is 3400 sq ft on 5 acres and it must be in order and clean. Never enough time in day for single parents. Please Reply ASAP worried

I am on vyvanse 20 mg a day. I ran out early but need it to show up in drug screen but all I can get my hands on is adderall! It is sent to a lab will they come up the same it different??

Your fine Chris, they are both amphetimunes so as long ad you havent taken anything else, your in the clear. My test was even sent across the country to a lab to be inspected, and after getting a mrssege from my human resource dept. to call them, all they needrd was to verify my adderol prescription.
