If Taking Adderall Legally And Am Drug Tested After Vyvanse Will I Get Fired (Top voted first)

I have a great job, one i hope to retire from. I work for a very major automobile manufacturer. I had a very minor incident driving a vehicle in the plant. It requires a drug test that had no problem taking due to being prescribed adderall the entire time employed there and have passed 2 drug tests for minor incidents with adderall on my medical chart. after the last test, I decided I would try vyvance, (another ad/hd treatment) from a friend, without a prescription, only because i wasnt going to be driving again for several weeks and would be out of my system long before that. as luck would have it, they gave me a random drug test that night! ...is the lab gonna detect the difference and fire me?!?

Am prescribed to adderal I took vyvance and had to take a urinalysis the same day. It was sent to the lab. Will the lab be able to tell Tue difference in adderal and vyvance?

I am on vyvanse 20 mg a day. I ran out early but need it to show up in drug screen but all I can get my hands on is adderall! It is sent to a lab will they come up the same it different??

Am prescribed 60 mg vyvanse I took adderall and had to take a urinalysis the same day. It was sent to the lab. Will the lab be able to tell difference in adderal and vyvanse? I think they usually just determine that its amphetamine and then ask for proof of prescription? Am I wrong?

I am in the same boat . Friend gave me vyvanse and I take adderall prescribed. I have to take UA's soon and am thinking b/c vyvanse is a partial ingredient of adderall (I believe d-amphetamine /and adderall is a combo of all l-amphetamine and d- amphetamine I should be in the clear. If u get this joe..please rely. Thanks

Any idea where I can get prescribed vyvanz with or adderall till my file goes through? Just moved from Michigan to Az. I have my empty bottles to prove. Any help as I use it for ADHD and exhaustion due to multiple sclerosis. I need to function and waiting for an appointment that is over a month away is just not gonna cut it

Your fine Chris, they are both amphetimunes so as long ad you havent taken anything else, your in the clear. My test was even sent across the country to a lab to be inspected, and after getting a mrssege from my human resource dept. to call them, all they needrd was to verify my adderol prescription.

No it shouldn't. I have taken numerous Drug test trough work and they can only detect that it's an amphetamine... And will just require proof ur prescribed an amphetamine. Adderall and Vyvanse are very similar. I was worried about the same thing awhile back and since I've taken about 5 drug screens all sent to a lab. So you will be fine.

TEST RESULTS

I'm legally prescribed Vyvanse and ran out and took a two 10mg Adderall the day before I called to get my Rx refilled. I was asked by my prescribing Dr to do a urine test before I could get my Vyvanse filled. I was TERRIFIED they would tell the difference between the two, there are many forums which say they can tell the difference - the Adderall I had taken were mine but from an Rx I had left at my parents house, the Rx was expired and 6 months old.

I took one 10mg Adderall on Wednesday at 1pm and then the second 10mg Adderall at 1pm on Thursday, my urine/drug test was to be done within 48 hours. I waited as long as I could and ended up doing my urine lab test on Saturday at 11:15am.

Nonetheless, I did test positive for amphetamine, but they did not look for Adderall specifically in my urine test. The Vyvanse and Adderal both came back as a single result, positive for amphetamine.

If you're worried about a "general" urine sample from your Dr with a cutoff of 500mg/nL, don't be worried like I was. They didn't break down the drug types to differentiate the two.

Also, for reference, my lab was done by LabCorp.

Hey, my 10 panel probation drug testing showed it as amphetamines. I'm prescribed vyvanse but took 4 10mg adderall. Only way you can get messed up is not having your script or a false Positive show up.

It's nice to be able to use the forums to get information. The problem is that when a person is in need of help or useful info they turn to it, googling, searching away til they can't stand it. But when there issues are resolved they do t follow up. It's quite selfish. I don't mean to turn this into something it isn't but it would be nice if everyone would be responsible and follow through with their end.
