I Would Like To Know What Kind Of Pill I Found

MY SON FOUND A ROUND , BROWNISH PILL , IN THE PARKING AREA OF OUR PLACE OF WORSHIP,NORMALLY I WOULD HAVE THROWN IT AWAY, EXCEPT MY 3 YR OLD TRIED TO PUT IT IN HIS MOUTH ( I ASSUME HE THOUGHT IT WAS CANDY). BEFORE I DISPOSE OF IT, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IS,,,, ON ONE SIDE, IT HAS A M UNDERNEATH, IS THE NUMBER 6. ON THE OTHER SIDE IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A WORD POSSIBLY STARTING WITH PFI OR PHF. MY HUSBAND SAID I SHOULD THROW IT AWAY IMMEDIATELY, SINCE OUR LOCAL DRUG STORES ARE CLOSED I WOULD TO WHAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE, BEFORE I PITCH IT. p.s. IT RESEMBLES CANDY TY

Penny, is the marking possibly M 60 with PF on the other side?

There is a brownish colored 60mg MS Contin tablet that is similar to your description. It contains 60mgs of Morphine in a time released formulation. NDC: 59011-0262
