Generic Adderall U31 Peach (Top voted first)

Just wondered if anyone else has gotten a prescription filled with a round peach pill imprint U 31 on one side, and quarter score on the other

They're horrible. I typically don't notice a difference among non-generic, generic, Teva, Barr, Sandoz, etc., but these are awful. Completely ineffective. They're so bad that after a couple of days, I started wondering if I was part of a placebo study...

There are at least 3 different manufacturers that produce generic Adderall. For the rest of this post I am referring specifically to the IR (immediate release) and not the XR(extended-release) which come in capsule form.

For years, Barr's version dominated the market. In my opinion, these are by far the most effective but unfortunately are becoming really hard to find now. These are the oval orange tablets with the lowercase b imprinted on them.

Barr imprints
15mg - 1|5 and b777, round orange
20mg - 2|0 and b973, oval orange
30mg - 3|0 and b974. oval orange

Next came the version made by Corepharma. These are the round bright pink ones which seem to be less effective, and with more side effects (headaches in my case) for most people.

For the first time ever, I have now received the version made by Aurolife which are round and peach colored. These are by far the worst of the bunch, as they seem to be completely ineffective for me. I'm not sure about the other strengths, but I know the 30mg version has the cross and U31.

Is the ORANGE U31 generic (Adderall) 30mg a IR aka instant Release or XR release??? Just curious needed to know! Someone please answer me ty

Imo the generics are all the same. Fda has regulations on how much med each has to have. They give the company a range. Originals will have the most med, while some generics will have slightly less. But the difference is hardly distinguishable. Otherwise they would just give u sugar pills. I base my judgment on extensive reading and personal use.

I'm with you, CVS bites!!! I dropped my scrip off and gave them time to order ANY other brand and when I come back in three days to be pick it up to be told rudely by the head pharmacist that they are only carrying the one type now. I went to Wal-mart of all places and got the orange "footballs". I'm a cancer survivor/patient and CVS has made a boatload of $$$ from my insurance and myself over the last 5 years but they won't see another freaking dime!

True, but the FDA has cracked down on companies who have produced bad quality amphetamines, companies like Corepharma. Their facilities where the chemicals were produced were poorly regulated, and so the chemicals were poorly made or the proportions of different amphetamines that make up the pill were not correctly added. They were reported and the FDA took action. As a result, Corepharma has cleaned up it's act and it's adderall generic as well as other meds have improved. I've tried their generic before and after the cleanup, and I noticed a difference. I've also tried other generics and now Corepharma is pretty much up there with Sandoz in my opinion.

Just to confirm, a round orange/peach colored pill marked with U 31 is in fact identified as a 30mg generic Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine tablet.

The manufacturer is listed as Aurolife Pharmaceuticals, based in New Jersey.

I haven't tried them personally, but did come across a few posts on here stating that they weren't nearly as good as some of the other versions on the market. However, if you're not used to using other brands/generics, I'm not sure if you'd even notice any significant differences at all.

CVS SUCKS!!!!! Been a customer for years and years on adderall and xanax and other meds...so they try to pull a quick one on me n gave me the MALLINKRODT white 30mg generic IR adderall which by far are the worst thing ever made and crumble in hand, I walked out door n opened to see which ones n saw those went right back i . N said don't went thes . But couldn't switch bc I may have "tampered" with them in literally 30 secs, n was fuming n next time gave me the U31 30mg which never saw either I'm in Nj and told them I'm taking biz elsewhere bc thy don't listen to u even had Dr write NO mallinkrodt and only sandoz or Barr like I've been getting for past 8 yrs needless to say I flipped bc I hand in script a week early so they will be there when its time to pick up n give them time to order but of course not...I emailed corporate n now they r "concerned" with it all...yeah OK....CVS SUCKS!!!

You have the right to your truth, others have the right to their truth. Please don't disregard what someone's truth is, for you are not experiencing it. While I don't wish you any harm, I do kind of hope you eventually notice that each batch is different, month to month, pill to pill, and you'll come back and apologize for throwing everyone into one group. I had the Mylan's last month and they were great. I had them this month and they were horrid. That's what happens when the pills are made in India and we're blindly supposed to believe they are all being monitored.

I hate to say it, and I hope I'm wrong, but you yourself may see the inconsistencies soon enough. Please don't tell other people that they are wrong. You are not in their shoes. It's unfair and it's cruel.

YOU ARE RIGHT!!! There is PRETTY MUCH NO DIFFERENCE. THESE I****S ARE USED TO WHAT THEY'VE BEEN TAKING AND WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING DIFFERENT IT'S NOT THE SAME!!! It's all in your heads!!

Keep in mind adhd and other 'disorders' of the mind is 'all in your head' as well.
Your physical chemistry is a whole different story, the differences in the ratios of mixed salts and their quality affects the body drastically.
I find the Aurobindo to be less effective on my CNS, with more physical stimulus. It feels a lot like BARR to me. Barr has always been dreaded, I'm surprised to see it preferred by some.
I feel scattered and mentally lethargic as of day 3 of taking the U31 tabs.
Core seemed less jittery and more affective, Mallonckrodt seems much less jittery physically w/more CNS stimulation.
26 days left, can I survive this? Haha

It's not all in the mind, it's true there is a difference I take the oval for years, and happened to get light round peach one with u-31 and there is a big difference irritating, stomach nasua mood swings they suck never had any issues with the oval football ones.

You can't say how other people are going to react to something. Everyone is different and they may not like what is used for a filler. There are a couple generic adderall that don't work for me. They give me a sick feeling. It's all what they use as a filler. I would never make such a statement about how anyone is going to react to anything.
You can't make such a statement, you don't know what others are allergic to and how different things effect people.

You couldn't be more wrong, every person reacts differently to different meds, but some meds affect the entire population differently. Case in point, no one in the industry wants to say it but here it is, the powers that be want to eliminate any type of pleasurable feeling from all medication. You know that is true and you know it is happening. If you "dumb" down the most abusable meds you reduce addiction. But it wont ever work, the companies that make the right meds will become much richer and for what its worth, buried deep within the psyche of a person with ADD is the burning desire to be motivated. It doesn't come natural to us. Despite whatever dumb bulls*** you have been taught to believe, we live it every day thus we know what relieves those deep feelings of hopelessness and which meds are dumbed down. I wish the FDA could make the distinction between ppl who suffer daily and those who merely wish to stay up to study for an exam.

You clearly have no history of drug abuse. Just because you cannot tell the difference doesn’t mean it’s the same for someone else. I always can tell the difference and I’m not just talking about this medication. Suboxone tabs and film have a big difference, so you just need to keep your opinion to yourself, but you know what they say about opinions, that they are like an a**hole, everyone has one.

So I got prescribed u29, same aurolife but 15mg. I by no means have any tolerance to Adderall. I RARELY ever take it. I had Teva before this and wud cut them to 5mg and wud REALLY feel and notice a difference, like there was no question. I have not taken any Adderall in over a month, got these u29, cut it in half and took the 7.5mg. I immediately noticed the flavor difference which is probably not a big deal but also how it almost melts in my mouth which I found weird. Anyway I took it and felt absolutely nothing, no focus, nothing. I was hungry and had no issue napping 3 hours later. I was just as tired as I usually am. So I took a full one next day, once again nothing at all, figured maybe its cuz I ate too much. Next day on an empty stomach took another, once again nothing, at this point I'm confused. So just yesterday I decided to take the full and the half I had left over, essentially 22.5ng, which is the highest dosage of Adderall I ever came close to. Once again nothing, napped on the train to work, the usual, a few hours in noticed I kept clenching my jaw and couldn't really stop? Also felt nausia. Basically I was experiencing side effects without any actual positive effects. So I'm at this point where I got 26 left and not touching them cuz they are trash. I just don't see any reason that a 22.5mg pill of this has absolutely nothing to it whilee 5mg of another brand works without a question.

That is not true! I have been on Adderall for 20 yrs for severe narcolepsy. I can tell a huge difference in them. Pink ones are awful, white ones are to. Sandbox, Teva/ barr are the best.

I have as well. Not good. Most people that don’t take these don’t understand the not good. Dr. Say it’s the fillers or coloring. I beg to differ. The amount of the active drug being able to differ at any percentage is the first place to look. Just saying.
