My 9yr old was perscribed 7.5mls of hydocodone aceteminophen 7.5mg for pain after a tonsilectomy. I have hydroco/apap solution 7.5-500 from her sisters tonsilectomy when she was 6yrs old. My 5yr old was prescribed calvepen 250mg for tonsilitis. The 7 days are up and it has cleared up,no further temps. He now has a bad cough, does Calvepen work for chest infections or will he need a different antib? ## It would be best to consult his doctor, because after one course of treatment, he may have built up some resistance to this one and might need to use a different antibiotic this time. I have been on these tablets for 5 days now as I have tonsilitis and a chest infection.Once day 3 came i have been feeling weak in my legs like i cant walk and also have a draining feeling in my arms like dead arms. Recently ive been sick for 4 days with tonsilitis...i cant go to my family dr as i dont have an appt so i have no choice but to take amoxicillin from phil., which expired last sept of this year.
