I have diabetic neuropathy and uncontrolled sugar levels. I have been on norco for about four years and now my doctor said she has cut my prescription in half and sometimes won't refill it at all because she said it is dangerous if your sugars are out of control. Is this true and why has it never been mentioned before? ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? Some of its typical side effects may mask the symptoms of low blood sugar. For example, the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and drowsiness… which could also be symptoms of hypoglycemia. Hi, I need some advice on the prolonged use of Gen payne. Been struggling with TMD and the dentist prescribed genpayne and norflex, so I've been taking the gen payne daily (sometimes twice) for something like 2-3 weeks now I've stopped taking it today and woke up feeling shaky. Severe diabetic neurology pain in both legs. Leg cramps, restricted ability to walk and stand. ## This medicine combined with lyrica has helped signifcantly. HoI wever, my gland on my left side has swollen, I do know if it is related. I had other such severe symptoms while eating. I am going to cut back on the medicine and see if my symptoms improve. ## Have you consulted your doctor? Both the Phenytoin and the Pregabalin in Lyrica are anticonvulsants that have also been shown to help with some types of nerve pain. Anti-diabetic medication information ## I have been using Glyburide 5mg since December of 2004. Three months ago in April of 2005 I have been noticing some muscle pain and fatigue has anyone notice this from this drug? I also use Gemfibrozil in conjunction with Glyburide. ## Yes, Glyburide is used to help lower, and control blood sugar levels. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia. It could cause such symptoms, if your blood sugar is dropping too low. How often do you check your level? How long have you been taking the Gemfibrozil? It is used to help lower cholesterol, and it is better known for causing muscle pain, fatigue, and weakness as side effects.
