I am still trying to find a Dr. who will take over my Pain management contract in Arizona. I live in South Scottsdale. I have been in Pain Management for over 5 years because I am on a high dose of medication no Dr. wants to help me. If anyone out there can help me please. I was told my Dr. he was retiring In Dec. they gave his patients 3 week notice. I did find a Dr. he was willing to take me on as a patient. Hello my name is Scott and I've been on adderall 10mg x2 a day, I've tried sandoz, teva and aurobindo. Hi, my name is Scott. I've been on roughly 180-240mgs of 30mg roxicodone for going on six yrs now. Several yrs back I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and as time went by things got a lot worse. Well about a yr ago I went in for a doc visit and my doc told me he was retiring. Why can't I find this drug..?? ## Hello, Scott! How are you? Tussigon does require a prescription, but most pharmacies should have it, if your veterinarian has written one for you. However, if your pharmacy doesn't have it, then your veterinarian most likely will, since they prescribe it frequently. One of the active ingredients in it is Hydrocodone, which is a narcotic and that's why it requires a prescription. If so, there was a very large distributor that got shut down, so most pharmacies have a backorder on controlled substances, until they can get a new distributor to take over. Apparently, this distributor was found to be processing much larger amounts of controlled substances than others, which made government agencies suspicious. I live in FL, and Florida has a "Darth Vader-like", evil governor, Rick Scott, who is intruding into every aspect of our lives, including medically and pharmaceutically. I know patients, such as injured ex-war veterans, who really need these medications. However, what I have found are quite a few medical research articles that have proven that they do not actually block the digestion of starches in any way and they have tested many different products, including this one. Are there any Doctor's in AZ (preferably in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, or Tempe area) that will prescribe pain medications for fibromyalgia and lower back pain? The strongest medicine that I can get is Norco 10/325 x 2 a day but that doesn't cut it.
