A friend of mine got some slimming pills called Reduce 15 mg that he bought in Thailand. They are not allowed in the country where I live, so I can't consult my doctor. I'm healthy but I have suffered from stress due to too much work, and have been medicated for that a couple of times, though not currently. I'm not fat, but I have gained 20 kg due to stress. Do you know which secondary efects these pills could have or if I should take them at all? ## From what I can find, Reduce contains the active ingredient Subutramine, which has been pulled from the market in many countries, due to the severe dangers associated with it. It can cause cardiac related dangers, such as: accelerate heart rate, trouble breathing, elevated pulse and elevated blood pressure. There have been some ...

I had one grand mal seizure last year, I was put on 1500 mg of Keppra right away. I had a tumor removed. Problem gone. Neurologist said I have to stay on the Keppra. I hate Keppra. Basically makes any mood I have to tenth degree. Angry is sooo angry and sad is soooo sad and even happy is soooo happy. I can't stand it. I am going to wean off it but I want to know which way would be best. I take 2 at pm and two in the am. should I go 1 at am and 2 at pm or 1-1/2 at each? ## Hello, Cheryl! How are you? If they had to do surgery to remove a tumor, then there is good reason they want you to stay on this, the trauma from the surgery can also create the risk of seizures. However, the good news is that you don't have to stay on Keppra, if it's causing you such problems. There are ot...

My son has been prescribed oleanz 15 mg to counter psychological problems and he has been given for the past 30 days or so. He seems to be losing his self-confidence more nowadays and feels bad he may not succeed in his work... Is it the effect of the medicine? Can i reduce the dosage / what is the effect then? ## Oleanz contains the active ingredient Olanzapinem, this is an antipsychotic medication that is also used to treat BiPolar disorder. As to whether or not his symptoms are caused by the medication, there is no way for us to say for sure, it is possible, but they could also be caused by the condition that he is being treated for, to begin with. As to reducing the dosage, this should not be done, without consulting with his doctor. What has his doctor suggested? ## Thank you very ...

Can you take 2 to make it 30mg ## Yes, the medication would be released into your body, just the same as if you took a 30mg extended release tablet, any fluctuation would be so slight as to not be noticeable or therapeutically significant. Learn more Morphine information here. It is not, however, safe to change your dosage without your doctor's approval, since this a narcotic and there can be risks associated with its use. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I was prescribed 15mg morphine er twice a day. I think that the night time pill disturbs my breathing at night. Taking Nuvigil 150 mg for 2 days, feeling awesome as compared to before - awake and productive all day. I still yawn like I'm tired all day but stay awake. Also, I cant stop swallowing and drinking water like constantly. Headaches. The main thing is that I'm a chronic pain patient and I don't even want or need my pain meds until it wears off!! Anyone else have a similar experience? ## Yes. I have general chronic muscle pain. Nuvigil reduces that pain. ## I've been taking opiates for several years, and over the last year I've become more dependent on them and my usage has grown into a daily regimen. Recently, I've found some Nuvigil pills and since starting them, my opiate usage has decreased significantly. I'm not sure what to make of this really. ## Well, I...

Hi, I am beginning to realize that my Xanax use is causing me to be more depressed (I also take Lexapro and Wellbrutrin for depression). I take the 3mg Ext release but must admit that I don't take it as prescribed. I bite the pill in half and take part in the morning and part in the afternoon. This probably means that I am taking the equivalent of a higher dose. About 15 years ago I started on the.5 MG and as things in my life became more stressful, my Doc kept upping the dose. Oh, did I mention he also has me on 5 mg of Ambien. The Ambien and Xanax used to work well. They don't work like they used to and I do not want yet a higher dosage. On the other hand, I have suffered with anxiety all my life. I would consider taking something like 1mg a day (of Xanax) if it comes to that,...

i want to reduce dependence on pain meds (6 yrs. so my Doc ordered me morphine sulphate 10 mg capsules instead of the MS 15 mg ER. Insurance won't approve the change due to cost & now while the Doc & insurance are arguing about it I'm running out of MS tonite. Doc hasn't called back. I do have some 5/325 hydrocodone but not sure how much to take in lieu of the MS 15 ER. ## Have you had any luck, yet? I know how frustrating it is, when your insurance is controlling your treatment, rather than your doctor. Most heart patients take medications like this, daily, to keep their condition under control and reduce their future risk. Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and, in such cases, it is used for its blood thinning properties. I've been having serious memory trouble, like not being able to remember movies or TV that I should be able to enjoy. I recall only facts from my past with all important details gone, which is not good. All important stuff related to my field like being able to remember information contained in books is gone. Although I try to design circuits and program most days. It's my life's goal to get back to being as good as I was at the end of 2009 and reduce suffering to zero. I built robots for universities but when I took a job there was so much happening in my mind. I think if I regain by ability to form memories or recall enough of the past with sufficient detail then there should be less suffering. I am 29 years old, have a masters degree in computer science. I was recently switched (2 days ago actually) from being on Percocet 10-325 4xd to MSContin 15er & Percocet 7.5 4xd for BT. My Dr. was going to go ahead & start me at 60 mg of the MSContin and take my Percocet down. I freaked out due to just beinh another "new" drug. I habe to many chronic conditions to write but I can honestly say I am about to have 2 major surgies. And he is wanting me to get that Neuro Implant device. My question is, this is just my 3rd dose of the MSContin (morphine sulf er 15 mg) and I am truly not feeling that much of pain relief even when I take my now reduced Percocet dosage. I AM USING GLYCIPHAGE 500 MG TWICE DAILY. BUT SUGAR LEVEL AT PP WAS ABOUT 150. DOCTOR PRECRIBED Pioglit 15 Mg ONCE IN DAILY AFTER BREAKFAST ALING WITH SAID GLYCIPHAGE 500 MG . NOW THE LEVEL AT PP IS 133. IS IT POSSIBLE TO REDUCE OR STOP SAID TABLETS OR REDUCE THE TABLET TO ONE ONLY BECAUSE SWALLOWING OF TABLET IS DIFFICULT FOR ME ## I wouldn't suggest cutting out a medication, or reducing your dosage, without consulting with your doctor. Diabetes can cause serious health problems, if it is not controlled and just because your levels have gone down, using the medication, doesn't mean they are going to stay down, once you stop using it. If they are not time released tablets, it may be possible to crush them, or cut them in half, to make them easier to swallow, however, please chec...

I've been taking Meloxicam for about three days now, for wrist pain. I had an MRI and it showed two small cysts in my wrist.
