need a list and pictures of all narcotic pills to teach my teenager ## I am afraid that will be virtually impossible, at least on the pictures aspect. The reason for this is that when medications are available for generic production, there is no standardized shape, size, color or imprint. The US FDA only requires they have a unique imprint so the manufacturer, type of drug and dosage can be identified in case of emergency, but they are, quite literally, made by thousands of different companies, so there are thousands of pills on the market that contain narcotics and they all look different and have different markings. It would be simply impossible for you or your teenager to memorize all of them. Even doctors and pharmacists do not have them all memorized. There is a list on the DEA sit...

pain medications that start with the letter o ## There are quite a few in various categories of pain medications, so I couldn't possibly list them all. For instance, just two narcotics would be Oxycodone and Oxymorphone. What type of specific information are you looking for?

Is Hydroxine the same as Xanax, or Valium ect? ## Hello, Fallon! How are you? None of the medications you've mentioned are narcotics. I have severe arthritis and am disabled . i have moved to jasper al and have to find dr willing to fill my narcotics and treatment ## Hello, Bbbreth! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. However, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. The only thing you can really do is see a new doctor, make sure they get a full copy of your most recent medical records, then go to an appointment with them and discuss your treatment options. And due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. A general practice physician won't be able to prescribe them. Can anyone recommend a good doc...

I have been on Tramadol for at least 9 years now, I am SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO NSAIDS, and do not like most Narcotic pain meds as they make me feel "yucky". They just took Tramadol off of the $4 list at wal-mart, and Tramadol is expensive, being allergic to NSAIDS is causing major problems in getting pain relief for me, what else can I take for pain that is not an NSAID, and inexpensive???? ## Hi Mindy, In the link below you can view a chart of prescription and non prescription pain medications ranked from weak to strong. You can use this chart to determine what other options you have as far as switching over to a stronger or less expensive medication (odds are though, if you want something higher up on this list, it will likely be more expensive): You may also want to talk to you...

I took 400 mg of Advil about 2 hours ago while eating. When is it safe to take a 5/325 mg Percocet? I had a minor surgery on a Bartholin cyst last night. ## Hello, Smith! How are you? Sorry about the cyst, those are very painful. I had one a few years ago, but thankfully, it went away on its own. There are no interactions or problems listed, that I can find, between these medications, so it should be okay to take the Percocet, unless your doctor says otherwise. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Plainly stated, opinions vary on the top 5 list of popular Rx's. Xanax alone will after a time become habit forming and difficult to stop. Hydrocodone alone has similar properties. Possibly the most abused combo out there. Clonazepam is safe, and does not have the synergistic sedation of hydrocodone and Xanax. ## Hello, Kim! How are you? I'm sorry, but actually Clonazapem can cause the same types of issues with narcotics as Xanax, it is also a benzodiazepine, so it increases sedation, just like the rest of them do. All of the medications you've mentioned are known to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation, drowsiness and dry mouth. Are there any questions or concerns? ## I currently take hydrocodone 10/325 QID and only at night t...

I purchased diclofenac sodium & codeine phosphate tablets 50mg, but I cant find any images to identify it as such. It came in a foiled back pop out sleeve of 10. pain in upper arms ## Well, there are no guarantees that any medication will actually help anyone, so there is really no way we can answer that. We are also not medical professionals.
