I took one12.5mg losartan -hctz at 6 p.m and the another at 10:30 on accident. What do I do? ## Hello, Ethel! How are you? Did you experience any adverse effects? That isn't a dangerous amount to take, unless it would interact with some other medication that you're taking, or it your heart rate and blood pressure are already very low, you had an allergy to it, or some other issue. However, you should be sure to watch for any danger signs, such as extreme dizziness, drowsiness, lowered heart rate, and shallow breathing. And, when in doubt, it is always best to check with your doctor, or a local emergency services.

I accidently took five Percocet in a 3 hour period today from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. I took two around 12:00 pm and two around 7:00 am. Possibly a total of nine today. I have been on this medicine for 1 year. I usually take two, 3 times a day for a total of 6 per day. Will I be okay? ## I do not want to overdose. This was sincerely an accident. It's been an hour. I have been taking abg 30 for two weeks now doesn't feel a relief so today I decided to take an abg 30 & 15 pill at the same time no relief yet it's been about 10 mins ## Hello, Meka! How are you? I am havin stomach cramps, runny nose, cold sweats/chills but no diarrhea yet. I took 20 mg Lisinopril a second time instead of 50 mg Atenolol. Supposed to take the Lisinopril once daily and the Atenolol twice. Am I okay? ## If you are concerned then you should call poison control at (800) 222-1222. From what I was reading, the biggest risk would be your blood pressure dropping too low (hypotension). How long does Losartan effectively stay in the body after being taken off the drug? ## Not very long, at all. The FDA lists the half-life as being approximately 2 hours, so each dose only lasts about 10 to 12 hours. Why were you taken off of it? I tried Cardizem right after my stroke. I felt calm. My BP was good. First I was on Digoxin , which made me crazy. Then I was on Metropol . Neither stopped my A fib. Then I took the Cardizem, but had to quit it because of my insurance. I also tried Cartia and Verapamil. I had heart palpitations and didn't fell Google's. I just got Cardizem approved and am taking it for 5 days. My heart rate is high now ( not the first time) and I feel dizzy, depressed, and fatigued.
