How Strong Is This Pill

I am taking 5mg (blue tablet) twice a day for back discomfort. I’ve been on it for quite s while I would say couple of yrs. I want to know if it can cause me to have a seizure every so often. They can’t find out any cause for them. I have no history of them or no one else in my family has seizures. I never ever had them before. I also get hot flushes through my whole body that last about 5 minutes or so every once in awhile. I want to go off them. How do I go about it. Is there a pill less strength than 5 mg(oxycodone). ## That is the lowest strength that I am aware is available, though if it is a regular release formulation, you should be able to cut it to lower the dosage, with your physician's approval. WHITE OBLONG PILL WITH 3592 ON ONE SIDE OR A WHITE OBLONG PILL WITH M367 ON ONE SIDE....WHICH ONE IS STRONGER? ## The tablet marked M367 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The one with the 3592 V marking contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus the M 367 contains more of the narcotic, but the other contains more Acetaminophen, which makes it kind of hard to say which one is stronger. Some people may do better with the higher dose of the narcotic, because the Acetaminophen doesn't have as much effect on them, but it can potentiate the effects of the narcotic, so others might do better with the lower dose of Hydrocodone and more Acetaminophen. Which one works better for you?

well i found this white pill that says m in a box on one side and 3 on the other side. i ussaly take 2 30mg of the m 30 ones that are30mg of hydrocodiene. the m 3 ones say its 30mg of codiene and 200mg of acephime [ or how ever u spell it ]. how many of the m3's would i have too take to equal a m 30 ## Okay, first lets cover exactly what these tablets contain. The one with the M 30 marking does not contain Hydrocodone, it actually contains 30mgs of Oxycodone, it is a generic for Roxicodone. The pill with the M 3 marking contains 30mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen. As to the conversion, the amount of Codeine needed to be equal to each 30mg Oxycodone tablet would be 300mgs, because the Codeine is much weaker than Oxycodone. How strong is this medication. Op 20 ## It's difficult to say how strong something is without comparing it to something else. I did come across a long term patient review in which it was stated that Opana is more comparable or equivalent to the stronger pain medication known as Dilaudid and that it may also be stronger than Oxycodone and Morphine. So in that regard, it is certainly among the top pain medications in terms of potency. Keep in mind however that these medications can effect each individual differently, so you may have to re-align your expectations for Opana after you try it. Others have argued that the new formula of Opana is less effective than it's previous counterpart, but you shouldn't judge it solely based on others reviews. I hope this helps!

My husband has had 4 back surgeries. Two this year lots of hardware in back. Suffers constantly he has always got the yellow 10mg hydros changed pharmacy to one closer to home and they gave him this Watson 853 they do nothing to relief the pain what is going on with these things. My husband has been in Recliner for two days because of the pain. Just want to know how strong it is? I only weight 110 pounds. ## Hi andrea, G 372 2 is identified as Xanax (Alprazolam) 2 mg. I can only imagine that the 2mg tablets are going to be pretty potent if you've never taken Xanax before; as 2mg is a high dose of this particular drug. Unfortunately the only way to know for sure would be to try it; simply because these medications can affect each individual differently. If you find that 2mgs is too strong, you can always divide the pill into smaller doses to help assess your tolerance. my mother got her medcine and old medcine mixed up ## If your pill has the imprint E655 on front and 60 on back you have Morphine Extended Release 60mg. This is a very, very powerfull narcotic pain med. I AM TAKING HYDROCO/APAP 5-325MG TAB 1 PILL EVERY 6 HRS FOR PAIN I AM IN TEARS. ISN'T THERE A STRONGER PILL FROM DR. ## Yes, there are many stronger pills. You should call your doctor and tell them that your medication is not helping the pain. I hope you get some relief soon. ## Hi Gary, Post #1 is right about there being a lot of other options for pain relief; many of which are stronger than a 5mg dose of hydrocodone + 325mg of acetaminophen. If it were me, I would talk with my doctor about upping the dose of hydrocodone to 7.5mg or 10mg, since that is considered to be the "next step up" in terms of potency. From there it seems like oxycodone, opana, dilaudid, fentanyl, extended release meds, etc, are reserved for more serious or long term cases of chronic pain management.....

You should not be cutting Hyslinga, it is a time released medication and doing so may result in your getting too much of the medication, at once. However, generally you can take Tylenol with it, as long as your doctor approves. But you may experience more side effects than usual, as reported by the FDA, so you may feel more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than at other times. Is there anything else I can help with?

There are only two strengths of Darvocet available and the mildest one, with 50mgs of Propoxyphene is not available at most pharmacies. Darvocet is a very, very mild narcotic pain reliever.
