What do i do to.get suboxen from.dr.curremtly taking narcos,i heard suboxen are better as far as pain.that you dont have.to take as many ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? Suboxone is actually a very weak opiate and doesn't adequately relieve pain for many people. Many have reported going on it and finding that they were in miserable pain, after switching. The FDA classifies it as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are the Norco helping your pain? ## Hello I'm currently on opiates for pain. I have been that way for yrs now an I was told that liquid methadone well they call methadone suboxone strips or tablets an Subutex...

I need a doctor who will give me adderall for my adhd.My other doctor retired .I live about 50 miles from Knoxville Tennessee ## You will need to see a psychistrist. Some family dr and internal medicine drs prescribe ADHD meds, but they ususally won't prescribe them to new patients. You will also need a copy of your medical records from your dr that retired. If you weren't tested for ADHD, a new dr may want you to be tested before they treat you.

I have been on methadone maintenance for 2 yrs now (75mg) This is the only thing that has helped me stay clean. I'm 49 and have been an addict since I was in my teens. I'm trying to find a dr in or around Fredericksburg Va. I'm paying $81 a week and just can't afford to keep that up please let me know if there are Drs out here that will write a script ## Hello, TRay! How are you? I'm sorry, but under current law, Methadone for addiction or maintenance can only be given in a clinical setting by those specially trained in its use, thus a clinic is your only option. It would illegal for a private practice doctor to prescribe it for you. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea...

Change Drs? or try and find a Medication that does not make my hair fall out. I am taking Micardis... That alone does NOT make my hair fall out. One Dr I was going to said one 2 times a day, I have to take 2 to get rid of a headache. Then if i run out to soon they won't give me anymore . So then I am out to soon. Even though I have told them 1 doesn't work good enough. I have even gone to the same office and seen a different dr who said they wouldn't give them to me. What is the big deal ? If you finally find something that works stay with it. ## Lora, I understand completely. I think they are concerned about rebound headaches if they are taken too often. Also, some neurologists don't like to prescribe anything for pain, and just rely on preventatives and triptans. I had my best quality of life with migraine with my first neurologist who prescribed Inderal as a preventative and 100 Fioricet/month. I never abused ...

Trying to find a doc that will prescribe methadone and breakthrough medications. I appreciate any help given. I have herniated discs in my back and a host of other maladies. ## Hello, Stuck! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will no prescribe that I can refer to for you. If you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, now. Do you have a PCP that may be able to refer you to someone? Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

Have you had your hormone levels checked? My pain Drs. license has been suspended. I am now left without any refill or Dr. to go too. No one was notified by the office that this had occurred. People are now left in pain and going through terrible withdrawls. I do not know what to do. I do not have a primary care Dr. and am now out of meds. Can someone pls. help give advice. I am very upset that nothing was done by my Dr. to inform patients that he was no longer able to provide care and left to find out on their app. day that this had happened. ## Hi Jackson, I'm sorry to hear about what has happened with your doctor. I haven't personally experienced this before, so my only advice (which may seem obvious) would be to file a complaint with the better business bureau or speak with a lawyer about any legal action that might...

I live n hot springs. Am a bit overweight. Taking pill for weight loss. Have lost 50 lbs. Have chronic pain in my knees. No Dr or orthopedic dr will give m pain pills. Xrays show severe arthritis. But nobody to help me. Even went to little rock n no help either. Can anyone help me. ## Hello, Siss! How are you? I am sorry that you're in pain. Pain pills aren't always the first appropriate choice to treat arthritis. And what kind of doctor have you been seeing? If you do require them on a long-term, ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year. Losing more weight could also improve the situation, since that places a lot of stress on your knees. ## I've been to orthopedic drs. 4 a matter of fact. N one rheumolig...

At least when I was with the other doctor I was comfortable but she no longer practices.I am in the Clearwater fl area. ## Hello, Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing th...

If anyone can refer me to dr in pa in uniontown or area near that wont give me a problem giving me my xanax i need them for now i took those n subutex n did very well w mental health and pain n did no other drugs ## When you took them, unless prescribed by a Doctor, you were breaking Federal Law. When you tell your new doctor about your trial experience you would then be identified as a drug seeker? ## I am the 40 ur old woman who wrote about needing my scripts back including subutex and xanax. Yes I was prescribed them n took them as prescribed along my other mental Heath meds. I did great n was pain free as well. I have 3 herniated/bulging discs in my back, RSD, fibromyalgia, was in an accident & spent 14 yrs having surgeries on my right ankle to save it (between 1977 & 1991! i had a compound fracture, bones laying outside my foot, gangrene, osteomyelitis etc.) Dr saved my foot thank God but I've been in & out of casts, leg braces, wheel chairs etc ever since yet i still worked from 1980 to 2003 while dealing with all this. Vicodin along wth methadone helps without making me so doped up I'm bed ridden but new Dr won't prescribe either so Sheens taking me off them slowly but by next month..August she will no longer give me either! I'm terrified of the pain I'll be in as she's reduced so much I'm feeling every pain, disc, & broken bone I've ever had a...

You can also ask your current dr for a referral. Pain Management Drs have pain contracts and routine drug panels. You will also need your medical records along with the diagnostic results for the cause of your pain. The dr will be the ones to decide what pain meds he gives you. Don't...

does anyone know of any Dr's in the Tacoma wa area that presribes oxycodone? I currently have a Dr but I can't afford to pay every 2 weeks and he gives me the minimum amount possible. I have extensive file from 2 severe car accidents, chronic neck and back pain, and an on going insurance claim for the 2nd car accident. Any help would be appreciated. ## Unfortunately, the new regulations are slowly making their way west and your doctor has to be very careful how much he prescribes, he really doesn't have much leeway. Frequent monitoring and limited prescriptions are going to happen with any doctor that you visit. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Here in WA, many doctors are flat out refusing to prescribe narcotics or benzodiazepines for any reason and those that do will oft...

My Doctor is retiring in 4 months and Ive been his patient for the past 6 yrs. I am on xanax and seroquel, does anyone know of any Drs in Dallas Tx or Dallas county that Will give me the same script if I take my records in. PLEASE HELP IM DESPERATE!!!!! ## The quickest and easiest way to get the help you need might be to ask your current doctor to refer you to a colleague, before they retire. Due to the new regulations set forth by the DEA last year, to stay on Xanax, you'll likely need to see a psychiatrist. Most general practice physicians will not prescribe it, anymore. The FDA lists Xanax as carrying the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Seroquel is used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and dep...
