My boxer of 38kg has been given purbac by his vet when he had some epulous (sp) removed. The instructions was 2 twice per day for 10 days but I now realize they have only given me 20 tabs and not 40. I have been taking 1,500mg of MSM in the morning and 1,500mg in the afternoon for the past two weeks. I was wondering if I could take 3,000 or 4,000mg in the morning and the same in the afternoon. I am taking it for psoriasis. It has helped some with joint pain, but not at all for my skin. Has anyone bumped the dosage up to 6,000mg or 8,000mg in divided dosage daily? ## MSM is actually just a nutritional supplement and I have never heard of it actually helping with any type of skin issues, though it is naturally present in joints and supplementing it can help with such problems, for some people. That said, the general maximum recommended daily amount is 4.000mgs in equal divided daily doses. Have you consulted your doctor about how much you should use?

The FDA classifies this medication as a benzodiazepine, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. But, it really doesn't cause a high or anything in most people that take it. It should have an effect similar to sedation. And no, in the regular release, 2mg is the maximum dose recommended, at once. However, if it isn't working for you, at all, you should speak to your doctor, because there is a 3mg time released one that you can try. I have recently seen pharmacies carrying Cialis in strengths up to 200mg. I'm curious, I thought that 20mg was the highest recommended dosage. Has anybody tried dosages above 20mg? What results? I started a dose pack of 4mg methylprednisolone today. I was supposed to take two before breakfast and discovered tonight that I only took one. I am retired early due to back problems. I have been on hydrocodone 10/325 for years-up to 6/day. I was given Opana 10mg 3/day by my pain doctor. I willingly decreased that to 2/day and it worked. My doc 1 month later switched to 7.5/2 day and I had to take more hydro in addition to 2 Aleve/day. I told her my problem and yet she then switched me to 5mg Opana 2/day and I still have the hydro 10/325 of which I take 6/day in addition to 3 Aleve PLUS 4-6 200mg Tylenol. I saw her last week and stated I am worried about my liver...she recommended some PRP which is NOT covered by ins. and didn't work other times I had it done. Her office is now doing injections/mess for weight loss as well as 'cool sculpting' and other 'cash' procedures including 'vampire face lift'...

Hi out there! I suffer from a panic disorder and am prescribed Zoloft and Buspar. I recently lost my insurance and have not been able to afford my Zoloft, so needless to say, that I have been going through a type of withdrawal. Which, in turn, brings on wild panic attacks. I've my Buspar becasue it's cheaper. My question is, has anyone ever taken the maximum dosage (60 mg) at once to help with the panic attack. I have to take 20mg three times a day.
