We found a oblong white pill with three lines on one side no letters or numbers. No idea. ## @Danny, I know most legitimate prescription and over the counter meds are required by law to have letters, numbers, and/or symbols that are indicative of the manufacturer, substance, and dosage. So based on your description, these do come across to me as being some sort of foreign or counterfeit version of a Buspar or Xanax tablet. However, without having any verifiable markings outside of the three lines, you'd probably have to have it analyzed by a lab in order to know for certain. Would you say the lines are more like score lines (divids) or are they actually printed in ink? ## I have a Xanax pill with 3 lines and no letters or numbers on both sides. It's from Mexico. Do you think thi...

Yes-what is the major difference between these 2 meds? I have taken xanax for several years. I'm thinking abt. changing to Buspar. Can you switch meds like these without tapering off the xanax. Does Buspar help w/ Panic attacks? ## Hi, I wanted to address the panic attacks you are experiencing. Often panic attacks and anxiety are the body's natural reaction to telling us something has gone wrong that needs to be addressed. It is usually some form of trauma that has happened in our life that creates the panic attacks and anxiety. Medication numbs the symptoms but do not address the root of the problem. Have you considered going into therapy to see what is causing the panic attacks and anxiety? ## buspar is suppose to be taken everyday its taken to level u out....zanax are suppose...

Hi. Anyone experience lowering your dose of BuSpar to 40 mg from 45, then back up to 45 in 2 days? Is it like starting over again? I'm having increased anxiety. ## No, just lowering the dose for a couple days, then returning to the original amount would not be like starting over, since you were still taking it. However, you should know that some increased anxiety should be expected, when your dose is lowered, things should improve, once your body adjusts to the new, lower dosage. Has your doctor approved of you changing your dose? The FDA lists the typical side effects of Buspar as possibly including nausea, dizziness, mood changes, headache, and excitement. Ref: BuSpar Information ## Thank you very much or your replies. Ive decided to get off it. Experiencing anxiety withdrawls amo...

My doctor wants me to take BuSpar instead of Paroxetine. Can someone please help explain the differences and what would be better? ## Which one is preferred depends on the condition being treated, and its severity. Buspar contains the active ingredient Buspirone, and it is most commonly used to treat anxiety disorders, either of long-term, or acute duration. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and mood changes. Ref: Buspar Information And Paroxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, it works by keeping one of our happy chemicals (Serotonin) bouncing around in the brain longer for those who may not produce enough, to help various conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and panic disorder. I've noticed a-lot of poeple out there are asking about buspar, & false postives.. as well as it's relation to xanax (alprazalam). Let me start off by saying that my husband is prescribed 15mg. buspar (I believe 1 3x a day) along w/some other drugs from his pyschologist such as ambien, and depacote. I can state that I took his buspar during a horrible anxiety/panic attack (also known as busiprone) and I also need to mention I go to a methadone clinic. After taking the buspar, I went to clinic to take my usual drug-screen (also let me mention I was receiving takehomes, only going once every 2 weeks as I'd never failed a drug test), thinking nothing of it as I'd read they don't show up as anything. Well, WRONG for me.. my drug test came back 100% positive for benzo...

So i’m just wondering if i’m able to take 3 month expired buspar? I haven’t been sleeping again due to my anxiety spiking up super bad at night causing me to have panic attacks in my sleep.. i haven’t been able to go to the doctor and they can’t fit me in until next month but I found my old Prescription that has the date to discard as 2/4/22. Will they still help me sleep?? ## Most medications that have been expired for a short time are still ok to take. Few, if any develop any kind of dangerous issue. Typically, the med begins to lose efficacy. I’m not a doc, or a pharmacist, and I would suggest you call a pharmacist and run this situation by them. ## What Beth stated is correct, this Buspar does not become dangerous, once expired, but it may begin t...

My dr has me on 1mg of xanax and I am still having anxiety, so he put me on buspar as well. Is it safe and will it work? ## Hi Mary, If your doctor prescribed both medications then I believe it is his or her professional opinion (after an in person evaluation & reviewing your medical records) that you can safely take them together in the doses that you were put on. My understanding is that your prescribing doctor also believes they will work well together... So I think if you're going to question their "expertise", perhaps it would be best to seek the opinion of another medical doctor (or pharmacist) outside of your network. I'd also encourage you to check out the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool) for good measure, where you can ...

I’ve been taking Buspar about two years. I ran out while my doctor was on vacation and I noticed my legs were hurting and very weak. I was in the hospital about two weeks ago and I ran out again and was trying not to take buspar at all. I can barely walk!! My doctor gave me Requip. It knocks me out and does not seem to help. I guess I will start back on buspar. I don’t know what to do. ## It is possible that you are experiencing some withdrawal symptoms from stopping it abruptly. Buspar withdrawal symptoms could also include nausea, weight changes, mood changes, and rebound anxiety. Are you on any other medications? Have you consulted your doctor about possibly tapering off of it slowly?

i am taking buspar for anxiety and chantix to quit smoking. ## According to both my physician, psychiatrist, AND pharmacist, yes. I'm currently taking Chantix (Champix here in Canada) with 15mg of buspar 3x daily. However, fair warning. You may find yourself getting brain zaps (Google if you don't know what those are) around the time you take your buspar. It's annoying, but it goes away. However this can be dangerous if you have to drive around the same time, so try and work it so you don't have to. Source: Personal experience ## I haven't been able to find any problems or interactions listed, either, but they should not be taken without a physician's approval and monitoring. As Shane has mentioned, you also have to be careful about worsening of some of the side ...

does buspar show up positive for benzos in a urine test? ## That said, not it will not show up as anything. However, if you have a prescription, just let them know and you do not have to worry about it. It is not a Benzodiazepine! Do you have any other questions? ## I dont have a rx for xanax but it showed up in my urine. I have heard that it is possible it could be from buspar. HELP please. ## It will not show up. I know because i get them prescribed, plus i get klonopin prescibed as well, and i ran out of my klonopin and got drug tested and no benzos showed up.. So no, buspar will not show up as anything. ## Does Trazadon show up as positive on a the drug test cuz I go to a Methodone Clinic ## You should stop doing that too, its a waste.... My father is passing away and my mom has buspar. Does it show up on a drug ua test? I go to a pain clinic and don't want to be in trouble. ## I have recently been started on Buspar and Buspirone. I have applied for a new job and have to take a urine drug screen so I have stopped both drugs. How long will they stay in my system and possibly cause a false positive on the urine drug screen? ## Does zanaprin show up in my drug test at a methadone clinic? I think its a 19 panel test. I am also taking buspar. Does it show up as any false positives?

Please list all positives and negatives, including drug interaction with Buspar and Oxazepam. ## What is the best time to drink the 150g Venlor. Mornings or evenings. As I find that I don't sleep at night as I take them in the mornings. Thank you.

i want to know if augmentin can be taken with buspar ## I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications, but it is always best to double check the be sure. They have a med called buspar that looks exactly like a xanax bar except one side has only 2 score lines as to divide into 3rds. Beware of fake xanax. ## It's not a fake tablet, it's actually just people looking at it and assuming what it is, rather than actually looking it up to check. Buspar is an anxiolytic, so while it does help with anxiety, it must be taken regularly, not on an as needed basis. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache. A couple tablets that people have assumed were other medications, but which are actually Buspar is a white, oval tablet with M B3 on one side and 5 5 5 on the other and another that has the marking TV 1003 on one side and 5 5 5 on the other. From what I can tell, it is the division marks on them...

How long is the interval for 3 x a day be? ## Hi Maureen, If you're to take one pill 3 times a day, the best advice I can offer is that you divide 24 (hours in day) by 3. This would equate to taking one pill every 8 hours. I hope this makes sense! Please post back if you have any other questions or comments regarding this. ## 3 TAB A DAY, OF LEVETIRACETA 1000MG. HE WOULD LIKE TO SPREAD THEM OUT. ## Not true. That's every 8 hours. When it's 3 times a day you take 3 times during the day. You don't have to wake up or take it around the clock.only if it says every 8 hours. So what times are best for you. I take mine morning, lunch, and dinner. ## This is the most intelligent, well-explained answer to this question that I've ever come across. My Dr was not able to tell me...

Looking for ideas of alternative anxiety treatments other than benzodiazepenes. I do not know if I can be prescribed benzos due to my medical history. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas or other alternatives that I may ask my doctor about? ## BuSpar is an option, the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and weight loss. It is not considered addictive. Many SSRI and SSNRI antidepressants can also treat anxiety. It really depends on which one works best for you. Are you on any other medications?

Due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, if you require controlled substances for long-term treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Do you currently have a PCP in your new location? I'm currently taking clonazepam 1mg, for panic anxiety for over ten yrs. Someone informed that a 10mg, mb2 buspar is stronger and works better. Does an1 have any info about that? I would like to get off the clonazepam but I have bad panic anxiety. And am afraid to switch to something else. That's part of my anxiety is being to cautious. But I rather be that way and be on something that isn't habit forming. Had I know it would be then I wouldn't of taken it yrs ago. But I take the 1mg clonazepam twice a day. But if I feel ok then I don't take the second one. But have read that you can't stop and need to wean off of it. Please any info would be appreciated. I may have accidentally taken a Buspar instead of my Xanax and experienced severe visual hallucinations for about 2 hours afterwards would this be possible from Buspar? It was a stupid thing to do but I ran out of my Xanax and my friend gave me what I thought was Xanax bars which I have never done before. ## Yes, it is not a common side effect, but the FDA does list it as being reported from those taking this medication. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and nervousness. What are the markings on the bars you took?
