I get occassional chet pain when I walk when I donot take Angispan TR. Should I take when I get pain or I can take twice a day 2.5mg as precautionary My Left Main is 80 % closed and I am plannig Angioplasty in two weeks time. ## How has your doctor directed you to use it? This medication contains Nitroglycerin, which is most commonly used to treat angina. As to when you should take it, that is something your doctor needs to help you decide, as no one else is really qualified to do so.

Im having sciatic nerve pains for few weeks now, Im lactating at the same time, is it possible to take daneuron and what is the ideal dosage per day? I saw a doctor already and after completing the meds he prescribed for 1 week, nothing change. This Daneuron is recommended by a colleague. ## If you're breast feeding, then I'd suggest checking with your doctor, before taking anything. You need to be advised by someone that knows your medical history, as well as that of your baby, plus any other medications that may be involved. Is there anything else I can help with?

how many mg per day for 10 days, each pill is 250mg i have a bad infection from sinusitis ## Hi menab, I'd like to help you find an answer to your question, but can't look up any dosage information without the name of the medication you are referring to. I did pull up a basic link (which you can view below) that has plenty of information regarding the use of antibiotics for sinusitis; including which one's work best, how long they are used, possible side effects, etc: For future reference though, please post as much information as you can about the pill or medication you're wanting to learn more about, so others can be of more help without being left guessing. I know this post is a few months old, but I hope you've recovered 100% by now from that bad sinus infection!

I am on an antibiotic for herpes. The instructions say to take one pill 5 times per day. Do I need to wake up at night to take it? I can only take it during the day between 5 am and 9 pm. ## Hi Patty - Exactly which medication have you been prescribed? To answer your question, no, you should not have to wake up to take a dose unless is specifically says so in the instructions given to you. Otherwise, you can space the 5 doses among the hours that you are awake. So, if you are awake from 5 am to 9 pm, that is 16 hours of being awake. 16 hours / 5 doses = one dose approximately every 3 hours or so. Do the instructions say that it can be taken with or without food? I hope this helps and best wishes!

Hi, what is the maximum dosage of Amoxicillin per day for a 60 lb. child for strep throat? Prescribed: 400 mg / 5 ml. of Amoxicillan (10ml) 2 times/day for 10 days. Child weight is 60 lbs. Is this too much? ## Hello, Angel! How are you? No, that is listed by the FDA as being a standard dose. They list its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am taking the percocet 512 white tablets 5mg/325 for severe back pain due to degenerating disc(s). I have been told 1 pill every 8 hours, but find the pain so excruciating after about 5 hours that I cannot even stand... even to use the bathroom or shower. My MD cannot get me into a specialist until August, but I am having real stress here. Will it be harmful for me to take more than the one tablet per 8 hours?? ## your comment seems strange to me brcause my MD prescribed me some of same percocet and on the bottle it says take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 or 6 hours according to pain or even as needed for pain. I have been taking 2 every 9 or 10 hours Lately, though, I realize that if I do not take a pill I start to feel pain in my shoulders, and my chest is agitated. So I just stopped takin...

I had a total thyroidectomy a little over a year ago followed by radioactive iodine just to be sure it was all dead and gone. Before my thyroid cancer I was in pretty good shape as I am a college athlete. Since the surgery I have gained 20 to 30 pounds. People said once I got my tsh levels right I would lose the weight but I only stopped gaining, not losing. My doctor sais they are where they need to be and I am done going up but I do not feel much better than I did before. I still have the fatigue, constipation, extreme heartburn, and brain fog. Is this permanent or are my levels really off and just not showing? HELP! can you tell me the equivalent or difference in percocet 10/325 to roxicodone 10/325? ## There is no such thing as a Roxicodone 10/325, Roxicodone is just a brand name for an instant release of Oxycodone, but it does not have Acetaminophen in it like the Percocet does. ## I have pills engrave with 512 number, but sometimes they sim stronger than percocet 5mg Culd they be 10 mg? ## no the 512 is a 5mg perc. it is generic so that may make you feel a lilttle different then whatever else you were taking before... ## I took myself off 15mg of Oxycontin. Now I'm on 10/325 Percoset 1 every 4 hours. How long can I be on this safely. I don’t feel I’m getting the proper dosage of my Xanax. I feel overmedicated... I just want to feel normal. Is 2 mg extended-release and up to 6 mg short-acting considered a high or low dose? ## One 2 MG Xanax XR would be about as much as you would want to take. An additional 6 MG of Xanax in any other form, with or without the 2 MG Xanax XR is too much, way too much! ## Hello Wendy, Nobody on this forum is going to be able to tell you what the proper dosage is for you. I'm not trying to be rude or discredit anyone here but every person reacts to medication differently. If you feel that the dosages that you are taking are too much that would be a discussion you need to have with the doctor who is prescribing you the medication. What I can tell you is that there are defin...

I have recently seen pharmacies carrying Cialis in strengths up to 200mg. I'm curious, I thought that 20mg was the highest recommended dosage. Has anybody tried dosages above 20mg? What results? Are doctors prescribing dosages above 20mg? ## Are you sure it was Cialis and not one of those over the counter herbals that are claimed to help with ED? There is no 200mg Cialis, the maximum dosage currently available in the U.S. are 10mg tablets. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stuff nose and priapism. ## I take 5mg of Cialis per day for benign prostate. Can I double up on my first dose of Bactrim to jump start the attack on my infection? ## I would be very careful about doubling up on the first dose, due to the fact of possible allergic reaction to the medication, which is significant'y higher with sulfur based drugs. ## Though this is an old post, I would like to add that doubling up is not a good idea, for more reasons than just the worry of an allergic reaction. When you take a certain medication, your body can only absorb and use a certain amount of it and the rest is just expelled as waste, or if you take too much, then you get the symptoms of overdose! ## Thank you very much for this information I am another person not the original person who asked the question... I am 74 years old. I am using Sin trom about 2 years, after implementation of the Pacemaker due to arithima absoluta. I have difficulties to maintain recomennded level of INR, between 2 and 3. During those 2 years I had tried with different dosage schedulle - changing dosage from 1 - 2 mg per day. For example: 2-2-2-1; 2-2-2-2-1; 2-1-2-1-2 etc. I have measured INR regularly at home with CoaguChek Roshe apparatus, or in professional labs, every week or more frequently depending on the oscilation of INR. I take Gleevec 400mg for CML. After a short period of time I experience some very rough side effects. Bones hurt, eyes are blurry, I feel like I am sick from my head to my toes, my chest is tight, my skin tingles, along with some others. I have been told to get off of them for 2 weeks and they pretty much go away. The BCR ABLE is 0 and other blood test results are in range. I keep thinking that the dosage is too high but my doctor won't reduce the dosage. Anyone know why? Or is it possibly something else? ## Unfortunately, all cancer medications are very harsh and can cause some annoying/unwanted side effects. What dosage of ep forte can I use at once and with what kind of drink (water or Gin)? ## Hello, Temmy! How are you? I can't find any information on this medication, so I cannot provide you with any dosage or usage information. However, I can tell you that you should never take any medication with alcohol. Medications are generally very hard on your stomach and your liver, so taking them with alcohol will just make things worse.
