Then you need to wait one hour following the meal for the drug to work best. If you eat before taking this medicine you need wait two hours to take it. I have been advised to take Ovral-L tablet for two months by one of the doctor. In that, I took first month correctly. Then in my second set of tablets, I missed the direction given by arrows in last 7 days. Is it ok or it should not have been done? I am a 75 year old male. I read the prescription directions wrong. I'm taking nitrofurantoin for a UTI in pregnancy. The directions say every 12 hours for 7 days.
