Is any special DEA license needed for prescribing suboxone? An X as a prefix to your DEA license number? ## Yes. Usually pain management specialist or psychiatrists will have this type of license. They are physically audited by the DEA regularly. I was started on Suboxone to get off of oxycontin. It absolutely saved my life. It does concern me that you asked about the doctors license designation. As a patient, that is none of your business. It makes you sound like you are trying to create a counterfeit script. I hope not. ## A dr prescribing suboxone to treat drug addiction must have gone through additional training. But, if a dr is prescribing suboxone for pain management, the additional training is not required.

I recently discovered my mother took zomax and died from this medication. The drug was taken off the market the day after she died. I know now there were many case suits but I did not know that she had taken the drug until recently. She was only 64 years old. My children/her grandchildren missed out on having their grandmother. My father was so lonely without her. Why didn't someone tell us about the legal proceedings back in 1983? ## Hello, Lou! How are you? Sorry about your loss. Zomax was removed from the market due to the fact that it caused a very large number of anaphylactic shock reactions, which is a severe type of allergic reaction that can be life threatening. Is that what your mother died from? Learn more Zomax details here. ## Yesterday Doctor advice me with precipition ...

Am taking zolpidem 10mg drastically and now suffering from both physical and mental problems...i have decided to stop and seeking help from deaddiction specialist...how long it will take and how much pain will be a deaddiction treatment ## Hello, Denny! How are you? What do you mean by taking it drastically? How much have you been taking each day? This is just a sleeping pill that is only meant to be taken at night, just before you go to bed. It can be habit forming, in a way, as people may become dependent on it for sleep, but it's usually not addictive like other drugs, such as narcotics. Have you consulted your doctor for assistance?

Dr. said combination of the other meds I'm on is deadly. You really have to advocate for yourself. Never go to Dr. alone. Person took 100 100mgcapsules of seconal sodium 6hours ago,and is still alive.is this normal? ## Not every overdose is immediately fatal. Even though the person may seem to be alive and fine, you can't see whether or not they've done any organ damage, especially to their liver, which usually takes the brunt of such overdoses. Has the person displayed any symptoms of overdose that the FDA lists, such as dizziness, hypothermia, hemorrhagic blisters and shallow breathing? I want to thank the DEA on behalf of millions of people who's had there doctor's prescribed prescriptions changed from a class III to a class II on Oct. 6th 2014. Hope the hell you don't find yourself in need of pain medicine in your coming years. I sure would like to know what your little secret is going to be to obtain pain relief when you need it. There seems to be no recourse for this change, I thought this was still America, God help us. ## @slick, I don't blame you one bit. It's beginning to look a lot like the survival of the fittest now when it comes to the scarcity of available working pain meds. Only the one's on top with a special badge on their chest seem to have say over what you are or aren't allowed to take based on their misconstrued policies,...

Can 370 mg of this medication kill someone? ## From what I've read, the recommended dose of Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is 5 to 10mgs three times daily; which would amount to 15 or 30 mgs total. I'm not sure why anyone in their right frame of mind would consider taking anything more than that, but 370mg is just ridiculous and careless in my opinion. Do you know if this person is even still alive right now or are you simply speaking hypothetically? In case of any overdose, you should probably be prepared to call your local poison control center or emergency hotline first and foremost. Waiting for a possible response on a forum may not be the best idea if the person you know really is dying from this overdose. I hope this helps!

Yesterday I found out from my doctor that I will no longer be able to get refills on the only drug that I have found that works to relieve arthritis pain that has no side affects for me. I am in the process of composing a letter my congressman to express my displeasure with the DEA's decision to make Tramadol a controlled substance with no expectations of anything but lip service in response. It seems to me that the government agency that is in charge of keeping illegal drugs from entering our country and apparently can't make a dent in that, has chosen a lot easier target, older Americans with Arthritis . I encourage everyone that is in the same situation as I am to contact your congressional representatives and demand that they reel in a agency that seems to think that everyth...

be extremely careful when taking flomax and read the fine print. it tells you that you run the risk of dying from flomax if you do certain reasonable thing. like living. took flomax for 4 days, worked out in the yard for a couple of hours. laid down on the front porch and stopped breathing. but for the grace of God i am still here, disabled but alive. user beware. ## Wow, I'm actually surprised they allow drugs like this to remain on the market. If death is a side effect, then what's the point of taking it? LOL! no pun intended there. You can actually report experiences like this to the FDA's med-watch program if you wish to. I'll go ahead and post the link below so you can have a look at it: fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/default.htm Through here, you can report serious medica...

Warning label on implanon does not begin to describe to horrific side effects of this birth control. And yes, there are many. Many of them will depress you to a point of suicidal thoughts and actions. Some women love this BC as their bodies seem, for now,to adjust to the enormous amount of synthetic hormone being released each day into the body. But if you research this product further, you will see women are having bad effects years down the road. It is not worth risking your health on this one. Keep in mind it is not detectable by an x-ray so if your are one of the many women who begin to have unwanted bodily changes and who will experience emotional issues, you may be stuck with it until the medication runs out, after which it is too late to do anything about it. you will be forever ...

Dears, I have celiac disease and I need to know if Deanxit pills contain gluten? Thank you. ## Hello Isaac, Unfortunately Deanxit is not an approved drug in the United States as it has been found to be too risky of a medicine. Because of this the drug you are asking about is not something I am able to easily research and find information on, however, I am able to provide a little bit of useful information that may help you find the answer. Deanxit contains the two active ingredients Flupenthixol and Melitracen, both of which are salts and will not trigger anything gluten related. Where you may find issues is with the inactive ingredients of your particular prescription brand. To find out if your drug contains any gluten products, simply look at the inactive ingredients listed on the pac...

I am 34 years old and a addict. I have been an addict since I was 21 years old. I have always been able to stop using when I wanted until last July when a string of very disturbing events happened in my life leaving me to attempt taking my own life. I jumped off a bridge falling 72 plus feet to the ground and damaging most of my body. I may be alive but i wish I was dead. I am not able to find a doctor who is willing to help me with pain medication with my past and to be honest the only thing that helps me is H. I do not use the H no longer to feel high. I use to be able to move with out pain. Even with high doses of H I still am in massive amounts of pain. I have done a lot of research and I want to get on Methadone for the pain as well as to get away from any other drug. Thing is I li...

What in the world is going on with the DEA ? They do not have enough work with border issue's and other related problems in and out of America ? Why pick on the NFL ? Why don't they go and work hard in finding the big time drug dealers ? Lots of questions but never any answers. Often wonder if the DEA is a good thing or is an EVIL thing. Just don't know anymore. Just an American voter who tries to help our country become a better 1. But this is a rather strange approach in dealing with Drug Dealers. Any comments out there today ?

Does denxit cause rash or itching ? ## Hi, Joe! Any medication may cause that if you have an allergic reaction to it. Are you allergic to any other medications? Do you suffer from environmental allergies? If so, that raises your chances of being allergic to other substances. Have you consulted your doctor? You should do so, as soon as possible, because some allergic reactions may continue to get worse and put you in danger.

Its a shame the way the DEA is handling this problem, instead of doing a little work and fix it lets just have all the DOCS cut everthing in half and not perscribe some things. I agree don't write perscriptions for 3 month supply I get that. Make patients go through drug checks. Just recently my Doctor cut my pain meds in half and would'nt write another He is a new Doctor that replaced my Doctor because he passed away recently, don't know me and he did'nt care if I was in pain or not he had his mind made up when he came into the room what his plans were thanks dea. Just like the federal government can't fix anything, lets just take it away from them like there trying to do with your firearms. why is homeland security purchasing all this ammo is there a day coming tha...

Are there any rules pending or active regarding placing all chronic pain patients on a morphine equivalent ratio of 120 mg. per day? To patients who have never taken an opiate this is a big dose; however, those of use who have been chronic pain sufferers for years know each individual is unique in the type, amount, how the medication is taken as to what dose works for us. The goal is to take the least amount to allow us to function at a reasonable level. I pray some common sense prevails. Sadly those people who misuse, abuse and tragically die do affect us due to the facts this is sad, sensitive, makes the news thus affecting policy and.... us! Sorry long post, a little venting.
