D Safe Tablet Combination

I'm on an email list with someone from Australia. Yesterday she attempted suicide (possibly) with drugs that are prescribed for her. She gave us a list today of what she took. Mersyndol Fort, Phenergan, Prozac, Gaberpentin, Clozapan and Methadone. Are these safe to be taken together under any circumstances? ## My daughter is on methadone for H addiction. She also takes large amounts all in one go of mersyndol tablets and, also same of paracetamol tablets. I need to know the effects of this as I am concerned. Can u help?

Plainly stated, opinions vary on the top 5 list of popular Rx's. Xanax alone will after a time become habit forming and difficult to stop. Hydrocodone alone has similar properties. Possibly the most abused combo out there. Clonazepam is safe, and does not have the synergistic sedation of hydrocodone and Xanax. ## Hello, Kim! How are you? I'm on Azithromycin and need to take Norco 10/325 (only half pill) - Is this dangerous? I read something about the combination prolonging QT interval. ## I didn't find any interactions, or contraindications listed in the NIH databases, but it is always best to double check to be safe. The FDA does warn that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. My dr. put me on lexamil 20mg a day for a month with alzam 0.5mg (3 x a day). No refill prescription. I have 6 lexamil pills left and a lot of alzam as i only took 1 morning and 1 at bedtime. Is this combination safe? And how do i ween myself of this safely? ## This type of combination is often prescribed for those suffering from depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. The main caveat, however, is that the FDA warns that Alzam/Alprazolam does carry the risk of being habit forming, but that is generally with long term, regular use. They are considered 'anti-inflammatory' medicinces. I know that there can definitely be some nasty side effects if someone is taken off Indomethacin abruptly - the body basically becomes dependent on it once somebody is on a regular regimen of it. Is it safe to take codesoft while planning for pregancy. ## Hi Pinky, Well it looks like Codesoft is simply a combination of Evening Primose Oil (cod liver oil) and vitamin E; which in my opinion is safe to take while planning for pregnancy. This isn't a drug (it can be found in many whole foods, like cod, salmon, etc.) and unless you are somehow allergic to Vitamin E or Omega 3 fatty acid then this is fine to take at any time. I am not a doctor, but since these are natural ingredients found in common food there shouldn't be any risks. Is it safe for a 72 yr. old to take 4 different high blood medications? It seems scary... ## Multiple medications are often prescribed to help lower high blood pressure as safely and as fast as possible, or to help control certain cardiac conditions. How are they working for them? My doctor (who I don't have much confidence in) prescribed a combination of 40mg Escitalopram (Lexapro), 200mg Clomipramine (Anafranil) and 60mg Mirtazapine (Remaron). That said, is in fact safe for you to take if you were in fact prescribed this pill by your doctor. I am on COVERSYL plus, CONCOR 5 and diazepam. I have been prescribed MELITRACEN for anxiety on diazepam withdrawal. Is the combination safe.
