Can I take Craztronin 500mg with high blood pressure medication? ## I decided to select a number of well known blood pressure medications from different classes to check for interactions with the antibiotic Craztronin (Azithromycin). I used the UCLA Health drug interactions checker for this. The drugs i checked against are: - Hydrochlorothiazide, HCTZ - Atenolol - Lisinopril - Losartan - Amlodipine No interactions between Azithromycin and the above blood pressure medications came up. That does not mean there aren't any others, it simply means that nothing came up for the drugs that I chose. Thinking I have an abscessed tooth. I have samitrogen on hand purchased in Mexico. Sell by date is Sep 2014. Are these still safe to take? ## Hello Sam! How are you? Unfortunately, I am not sure. Mexico does not regulate their medications like the U.S., so I don't know if that is an expiration date, or if it is still effective for awhile after that. It would be best to see your dentist, so he can prescribe an antibiotic for you, if one is required. Additionally, even after taking an antibiotic, you'll need to have the underlying cause of the infection treated, or it will keep returning.
