Sold under the name Ardosons in Mexico. Are there many side effects? Should I take as needed or should I take one or two a day every day as recommended by my Mexican doctor. Are there long term side effects? ## The ingredients are Indomethacin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory; Betamethasone, which is a steroid class medication and Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant. So, it's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The doctor is correct, it is usually just taken, as need for pain, up to twice a day. Since it does contain an NSAID, it can cause some side effects, such as headache, nausea and stomach irritation, which could worsen and put you in danger, if you take too much of it. Can Indomethacin and Wellburtin taken together cause a reaction? Lightheadness, dizzy, confusion, slurred speech, blood pressure was high. I ended up in the emergency room. Poison control said it was these medications that caused this. ## They aren't actually interactions, but they can be side effects of these medications, which could be worsened by combining them. For example, both Indomethacin, and Wellbutrin may cause dizziness, drowsiness, sedation and somnolence as side effects, according to FDA reports, so taking them both could make those symptoms more severe, and that could lead to the slurring of speech that you experienced. The high blood pressure is also something that can be a side effect of both of these medications, so it could be worsened by combining them. Ref: Medli...

I am having a reaction to the medication ardosons and trying to get more details about this drug. ## Hi stephanie, Sorry to hear about your reaction to that medication. Are you feeling any better now? Based on my research, the ingredients found in Ardosons are: Indomethacin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory; Betamethasone, which is a steroid class medication; and Methocarbamol, which is a muscle relaxant. Since each medication can effect you differently, I think you really have to look at each drug's individual profile to get a better idea of what side effects are really associated with the medication as a whole. It may also be a good idea to contact your doctor about any safer alternatives to Ardosons. You can learn more about these drugs on the pages for: Indomethacin Det...

Can my 12 year old boy take Ardosons capsules? He twisted his ankle and it's swelled. Pls let me know. ## Hi Rosa, Because the ingredients found in Ardosons are given by prescription-only here in the US, I can only recommend that you contact a doctor who can evaluate your son's condition in person and make an appropriate decision after reviewing his medical records and other pertinent details that may influence the course of treatment. I understand that in Mexico these types of medications have looser restrictions than the US, but to ensure your child's safety I think it would be worth your while to seek out a professional opinion. Just for your own information, the active ingredients found in Ardosons are: Indomethacin (which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) + Betameth...

The last time I bought this was in Mexico but I need more. Where can I buy this in the Coachella Valley? Do I need a prescription from a Doctor? This is all I need to know at this time. ## I need 1 box ardosons capsulas, for inflamacion rtrithis ## Ardosons reportedly contains the following set of active ingredients [Indomethacin + Betamethasone + Methocarbamol] all of which are prescription drugs here in the US. So you will need to visit your doctor in order to acquire it legally. In Mexico it's a different story, as the laws surrounding these drugs as well as other 'would-be' controlled substances are generously lenient, making them easily accessible to the masses. If you live in or near Mexico, surely that would make things convenient, but otherwise your best bet is setti...

I have a green and white capsule that has all three ingredients in it. Is this safe to take and for how long? Is it for inflammation? ## One drug is a safe as any other, they all carry risks. As to how long you should take it, you should really consult a doctor, because it depends on the severity of the condition being treated and how well it responds to treatment. Since this does contain the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory Indomethacin, it can cause blood thinning and stomach irritation, which can worsen with long-term usage, so you do need to be careful. The Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant, which may cause dry mouth, headache and dizziness. The Betamethasone is a type of steroid, so it may cause fluid retention, weight gain and a compromised immune system. Learn more: Are there any ...

Can this be prescribed in the US? Is there a comparable medication? I've used this and wondered if it is available in the US.
