need a pain clinic in tn alabama ,doctor just closed was on 100 mg morphine 90 a month 180 roxicodone a month need doctor immediately close to tn Al border if anybody has a cash pay or insurance doctor 4000 patient going crazy please help ## Hello, Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach in my o...

If my fill date is for Sunday the 29th but my pharmacy is closed on Sunday, can I get them the day before since they aren’t open on the fill date and I will run out? ## You should be able to, but it may also depend on what type of medication it is, many pharmacies are very strict about controlled substances, and require them to be filled the very day they are due. But it doesn't hurt to ask them to find out, the worst they can say is no. We've yet to have a pharmacy refuse, but our medications are mostly maintenance for blood pressure, heart issues, asthma, and epilepsy, so we don't have anything on the real controlled list, so to speak. When it comes to most other medications, which aren't controlled substances, you can usually get them filled several days early, ...

So my Pain doctor got shut down been going for 15yrs saw about 5 different docs in that span of time. Now I'm trying to find a new one and it's near impossible!! So I was not gonna be stupid and go into withdraws. So I went to a sub doc immediately. Got in right away and Ben on subutex for almost a month while I try and find a new pain doc and it's crazy with all the new laws and South Florida running dry of docs. I find myself not being accepted anywhere. I don't know what to do. A couple of places told me,over the phone theirs no way I. gonna get close to what I've been prescribed for 4 yrs plus now 120 30mg oxycodone IR'S and oxymorphone 30mg ER'S 60!! I realize addiction is rampid in this country but i dont think the federal goverment should be allowed to kill me off. I wasnt doing anything illegal ## Hello, Jaime! How are you doing? I am very sorry about the problem that you're having. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? Getting a referral from them to a new doctor will likely be the easiest way to get the help you need. As to the DEA, t...

My Rite Aid closed so I had my medicine filled at CVS in Arizona. Found out they haven't sold Soma in a few years. Safeway told me a year. Yet Kroger & Walmart sell it. I've just lost 6 months worth. I'm sure my Doctor will help me when I return in a few weeks. I miss Rite Aid already, they were very nice, and sold Soma! ## Hey Eddy! Sorry to hear that! I get mine from CVS here in Texas? ## Thank you Sandra, I called and asked CVS how I could transfer my prescription to WalMart. The answer was you can't ## A big thank you to Walmart, a store that I have hardly used. They had to order my amount, 270 for a 3 month supply, I can't believe the price, $2.27. I was paying over $20 at Rite Aid, the retail price is $137 without any discounts. I knew Rite Aid was overchar...

I lost my job because my call center closed on May 31st. The insurance I had which almost entirely paid for all of my prescriptions also ended. I'm currently substitute teaching but that is as needed. Is there anyway to get samples of this prescription in the meantime? 100mg 1X's daily is the dosage I took. ## Unfortunately, since Losartan is a generic medication, patient assistance, and sample programs are not likely available. However, there is a Prescription Discount Card available here. It is free, and has helped many people save money on prescriptions. Another idea would be to ask your pharmacist if they know of any helpful programs available, some states, such as Washington, have a program specifically for low-income, uninsured people. When I was uninsured, and needed it, ...

the clinic i used to go to for 15 years closed down and my doctor also is gone so i am at a new clinic which has at this time only nurse practicioners and my old doctor had me on generic bactrim 500 mil. twice a day for 5 days once a month. . i have had problems and i only have one bottle left from old doctor and the bottle expired 12-2016. Can i safely take it since i am not getting the help i need and i know my old doctor would have prescribed it for me ## This is an antibiotic that is used to treat, or prevent bacterial infections. Why are taking it 5 days a month, every month? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. As to the medication, as dispensed in a bottle by your pharmacy, it is good for o...

I have a painful toothache. The dentist office is closed on Sunday. I have 1 ciprofloxacin 500 mg and cephalexin 500 mg. I don't know if they are okay to take for my toothache. ## Those are both antibiotics, used to treat various types of infections, so they may help, but it will not be enough to completely get rid of the infection and they will not treat pain. It is very important that you see a dentist to get to the root of the problem and, if needed, get enough antibiotics to clear up an infection. Are there any other questions?

I recently had to change pain drs b/c mine closed his practice. I have been fighting w/my WC company to detox from the pain meds I take for the last 5 years b/c I'm having a lot of detrimental secondary side effects. The new doc's PA is having me come off of the Topiramate (1200 mg daily) to 400mg daily in one month. This seems a little crazy fast to me. When I requested to go slower, she accused me of being argumentative =/ Has anyone else had this kind of experience? I also am on Methadone 40 mg, down from 60 & Fentanyl patch, 50 mpg, down from 100. Any feedback would be welcome! ## Hello, Syd! How are you doing? There is a risk of seizures, if you cut down on the Topiramate too fast, so you are right to want to be cautious. Have you tried speaking to the doctor, rather th...

I think the pharmacy gave me the wrong pill and now they are closed. My Azithromycin has always been pink not white and this one is white with GGD6 on it. ## Well first off, let me state that when a medication is available for generic production, it is made by many, many different companies and each pill will look different and have a different marking. The color actually means NOTHING. That said, this is, indeed, Azithromycin 250mgs. ## zithromycin comes in many shapes and colors it needs to be verified in the drug books with alll identifiers ggd6 bis not listed anywhere but here and it took me 2 hrs to find something on it

## what is endocin? ## I had an extreme reaction to this med. My throat closed. Was for muscle spasm and inflammation. ## Indocin is a name brand for Indomethacin. It is not used for muscle spasms though, this is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it will only help with inflammation and the aches and pains caused from it. It is frequently prescribed for Rheumatoid Arthritis and similar conditions. Here's the link to the drug monograph if you would like more information: ## ENDOCIN IS ALSO USED TO TREAT GOUT

I am a diabetic since 1989. Since last three months, my left eye is closed, the upper eye lid is not functioning. I was under the drug i.e; Methacom-L(prescribed by an opthalmist) , and it is improving now. One of my friend who is also suffering from the same problem, is under the supervision of a neuro medicine doctor. The neuro doctor prescribed him Felcita OD. 1. What's the difference between Methacon L & Felicita OD. Can I use Felicita OD in lieu of methacon- L ## Both of them are just nutritional supplements, not actual drugs, so they aren't actually proven to treat or cure anything, other than a deficiency in one of the vital nutrients they contain. What have the relevant doctors claimed caused the malady?

Looking for a Dr in Grand Rapids that isn't a closed minded neanderthal. I've been to 2 different docs in the past 4 months. I was quite active growing up and as a result suffered quite a few injuries. Between sports, military, and work life, my 38 year old body feels like its 70. Chronic fatigue, back pain, sharp pains going down legs is a daily torment. The first doc I saw put me on Cymbalta for three months to no effect. He then diagnosed poison ivy as a viral infection (really?) Needless to say I didn't remain with him. And the second he told me after one visit, that fibromyalgia doesn't exist (mother, father, and sister are all diagnosed with it by the way). After initial blood work he informed me that nothing was abnormal and we could discuss further treatments. Kn...

I have forgot to collect my prescription from doctor and its now closed ll weekend and have just been on lower dose for 4 weeks, how will this effected me or how can i get some to tide me over. ## Hi Donna, Depending on how long you've been taking this medication and how much of it you've been taking, there is a risk for withdrawal symptoms. If you forget to take a dose, it's generally recommended that you take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. (Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one). As far as withdrawal symptoms go, the precautionary guidelines for this medication state the following: "If you suddenly stop taking citalopram, you may...

This tablet is manufactured by Solco Healthcare and they list it as containing 2.5mgs of Lisinopril, so there's nothing to worry about. I WOULD GIVE YOU THE #'S BUT HAVE IN ETHEX BOTTLE & THEY GOT DAMP!!! ## Unfortunately, without the marking, I cannot tell you who the manufacturer is, because the colors do not mean anything, that is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer and the MS IR generics are made by several different companies. I just started using Rapaflo and my nose is almost completely closed off. I can't sleep. Does this side effect wear off after a few days ## Yes--suddenly very soon after taking rapaflo in the evening my nose becomes very congested and I have trouble breathing and sleeping. I am also severely constipated. Not good! ## Most side effects take several weeks to wear off, as your body gets used to a medication. If it's that troublesome that you're losing sleep, you may want to talk to your doctor about something you can use to alleviate this symptom. You can learn more Rapaflo details here. Has anyone else experienced this odd side effect? ## Yes, I have experienced the same stuffy nose problem too; it seems to happen within an hour of my evening dose. Of course it makes breathing...
