fat blocker ## From what I can gather, Cr-Pico is an abbreviation for "Chromium Picolinate". Chromium picolinate is a form of Chromium marketed for use in improving nutrient metabolism and to promote weight loss. However, I have not read any information about it being a "fat blocker" per say. According to NIH.gov, Chromium is known to enhance the action of insulin, a hormone critical to the metabolism and storage of carbohydrate, fat, and protein in the body. Chromium also appears to be directly involved in carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism, but more research is needed to determine the full range of its roles in the body. You can also visit the link below for more specific details about the use of Chromium as a dietary supplement: ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Chromi...

I have celebrex 200mg from 2014, could I still use these? ## Hello, Merry! How are you? This medication doesn't become toxic after the expiration date, but it does lose effectiveness and probably won't work as well as it did, when new. Thus, it would be best to see your doctor for a new prescription. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

my pharmacy changed medicine on me... again...on my 'generic' carbamazepine . called them up and i mentioned to the girl that i have been prescribed the yellow 'carbs' with NC*200 on it for 2-3 years...now i am getting a capsule i took when i was younger and it was called 'tegretol'...it is half teal and gray capsule with what i can make out S433 .she said it is a 200 mg ER capsule carbamazepine . AND what i take are not tegretol at all...i am so confused...this is a nation-wide pharmacy... ## That is correct, Tegretol is the name brand and the time released ones are actually tablets with a circle and T logo on them. For instance, the 200mg XR one is whilte with a pink circle on it and the T in the middle of the circle is also left white. Learn more Tegretol deta...

Hi, I ran out of prescription, can't get to my doc to get a new one and have no tablets left = Cold Turkey on the Pristiq I was hoping to come off soon anyway. I know about the brain zaps, nausea and other weirdness, but was wondering if I am possibly doing myself any other damage? ## FYI - I was on the 200mg for about 6 or 7 months, and on Pristiq for over 18 months all up. Feeling pretty shaky right now... ## More fyi. This is awful :( Crazy night sweats are the least disruptive. I feel like my brain is resetting itself mid thought, but I still have that seventh sense of mindsight, watching it happen, so it's helping me not freak out that my brain us breaking. Help? Any thoughts on this? Please tell me if I'm breaking my head. ## How are you doing now, Lily? I hope all is ...

what is the effective half life and absorption rate expected for carb/levo extended release 50/200 mg tab mylan? ## Elimination half-life of levodopa in the presence of carbidopa is about 1.5 hours. Following Carbidopa and Levodopa extended-release, the apparent half-life of levodopa may be prolonged because of continuous absorption. The extended-release formulation releases levodopa and carbidopa over a 4-6 hour period. I'm not quite sure what this equates to in terms of half life. But to be safe I would estimate the half-life to last an extra couple hours. As far as absorption rate goes, the extended release tabs have a bioavailability rate of 0.70 to 0.75. The approx. amount of bioavailable Levodopa in each tab is 140 to 150mg out of the 200mg pill. I hope this helps!

Are there any programs that can offer assistance with my monthly medications? ## Hello, Dale! How are you? Each page of this site offers a printable discount card that you can use to save money on most medications, though the exact amount will vary from drug to drug and according to your location. You can just click the link, put in your email address and print the card. Most pharmacies accept them, so you could even ask at the one you use to see which ones they accept and which one may save you the most money. Does anyone else have any ideas that may help? Is it harmful to use expired clotrimazole cream for Serious Red Rash in Vagina with expiration date: November 2009 ? I would believe it is but my friend says NO....... ## Yes, you are correct and it shouldn't be used. Creams tend to degrade fairly fast and usually contain oils that can go rancid with time. Thus, trying to use one that's this old to treat a vaginal issue could just end up making the situation worse. It is best to use a new cream that is still fully potent and within its expiration date. Thank you... ## Hello, Linda! How are you? The main risk here is from the Naproxen, long-term use may cause more than stomach issues, which can include ulcers, it could also cause liver damage, or liver failure, which may be fatal, as reported by the FDA. I was given the kids liquid form of amoxicillin but please answer for pill form as well. Is it safe to take 1-2 (200mg) of ibuprofen while using the liquid or pill firm amoxicillin?? My need for the antibiotic was for strep throat and now that I've finished it my wisdom teeth are coming through, so I'd prefer to take ibuprofen for the pain of these teeth coming through. I read somewhere that taking ibuprofen while on antibiotics could give ypu a high chance of convulsion seizures is that true ?? ## Hello, Linn! How are you? I've been using astymin forte 200 for my diabetes insipidus for the past 3 days. Yesterday I cut my finger with a knife and today the whole finger aches. Should I discontinue using astymin? ## Hello, Princessa! How are you? Astymin Forte is a nutritional supplement, so it will not help treat diabetes, nor should it contribute to pain from a cut. The FDA lists the typical side effects of supplements as typically including nausea, due to their potency. Did you clean the cut? If the whole finger is hurting, you may want to have your doctor look it, you might have developed an infection.

My question is this medicine generic brand soma are not. They are round big white pills with only a line on one side? Thank you. ## @Jill, If you bought these during your stay in Mexico, then I believe you would either have to have the pill analyzed by a lab or contact the store you purchased it from in order to find out if they can verify this for you as a customer. my husband was givin reprexain 10-200 mg one every 6 hours but he is still hurting bad can he take 2 at a time ## Has he consulted his doctor about it? This contains Hydrocodone and Ibuprofen and the maximum dose of Hydrocodone that's usually given at oce is just the 10mgs, it is very potent narcotic, so I wouldn't suggest increasing the dosage, without a doctor's approval. ## Your husband can absolutely take 2 at a time I don't know why people are saying not to. I am 215lbs and I sometimes take 3 at once when I'm in a lot of pain. What you need to be most mindful of is how much acetiminphen he is taking per day. Keep that under 2500mg and he will be fine and feeling great!

I HAD RECTACELE SURGERY. I ALSO HAVE SEVERE BACK PROBLEMS. I TAKE 1 OXYCOD/ACETAMIN EVERY 4 HOURS AS NEEDED FOR PAIN. CAN I ALSO TAKE 1 200MG IBUPROFEN WITH IT? THE OXYCOD/ACETAMIN IS 5-325MG. ## Hello, Carol! How are you? They can be taken together, as long as your doctor approves, but since the Ibuprofen can cause some blood thinning and increase your risk of bleeding, it's always best to double check with your doctor, before doing so. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
