Does any1 no if tramadol and buscopan can be taken together as I'm so I'll from takeig them together and yet the doc gave me them ## Have you talked to your doctor about it, yet? Were you directed to take them at the same time? If you are feeling ill from a medication, it can sometimes help to take it with food or, if there is more than one medication, to take them at separate times, an hour or two apart. There are no interactions listed, but since both can cause some nausea as a side effect, it would be normal for it to be more pronounced, if you are taking them both, at the same time. You may also experience a heightening of other side effects, such as: drowsiness and dizziness.

Common side effects may include: nausea, constipation, dry mouth and trouble urinating. I cannot locate a drug study on it. Does anyone else know where to find one? ## drug study of buscopan ## My advice is NEVER to combine Buscopan and an opioid. I was in severe pain, and of course opioids cause stomach upset. So, no warning from the the chemist, I took both. I was out of my tree. It wasn't the Oxycodone, I had that before, but they play havoc with my stomach. Tried the Buscopan, and within an hour I was dizzy, confused, fell ov...

I have been taking Buscopan Co for over 2 years now (only when needed) and have found in the last few months that it is no longer available in South Africa. I'm not sure if this is because it is really no longer available in the country or if every pharmacy I've tried (and I've literally tried hundreds) is out of stock of the product. Nobody is able to advise me of an alternative that is as effective as buscopan. Both my husband and I suffer with very intense stomach cramps (I thought I was having a heart attack the first time it happened and doctors have been unable to diagnose the problem). Please can you help. What can we take as an alternative to Buscopan Co that is readily available in South Africa?

Just needed some advise if im allergic to Buscopan, can i take Librax? Will i get the same allergy? Do they have the similar ingredients?. ## Hi Kim, What about Buscopan causes the allergy? The type of medication it is? ie: Anti- spasmodic, or a certain ingredient? Librax contains the active ingredients "chlordiazepoxide" and "clidinium", Buscopan contains the active ingredient "hyoscine butylbromide". When I took buscopan and and tramadol together I felt like I was going to pass out ## Hello, Sue! How are you? I'm sorry about what you experienced. I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between them, but there's no way to know how any given medications will affect any specific person that takes them. If it was that bad, I'd advise avoiding this combination in the future. The FDA lists Tramadol as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
