How does the monocef inj. work to prevent loose motion when taken with mikacin? ## These are both antibiotics, so they can actually cause loose motion as a side effect, according to the NIH, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and non-allergic skin rash. However, if your current case of loose motion has been caused by some type of infection, they may help and you should take them, if your doctor has instructed you to do so. In between 4-5hrs gas forming in stomach and doing loose motion no pain. It started one month before while I taken antibiotic ( kalvox 1g & serodase 5mg) for tooth infection which was doctor prescribed. 1. On Jan.2010 I had loose motion for more than 20 times symptom: cramps in the stomach, mild paid, loose motion, no fever, no vomiting I took our family doctors medicines and it was controlled 2. In the month of March again same thing was repeated and similarly controlelled. I started loosing weight from 62kgs i came to 55 kgs Family doctor informed me that I was suffering from IBS 3. In the month of June I was hospitalised for 5 days and saline was given and intestine and bowl was cleaned. No antibiotics was given. MD Dr. confirmed that I was not suffering from IBS 4. But from October till date i started having the same symptom every 2-3 months and I go to my family doctors he gives antibiotics i recovered for a short period and I again I go back to the same symptom. I have the problem of motion fast with sticky stool. Doctor suggested me O2 tablet. Is this tablet is useful for the problem? ## From what I've found, O2 tablets contain Ofloxacin and Ornidazole, it's an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections.
