Which Tablets Can I Use To Stop Too Much Blood In My Womb

I gave birth 3 months ago and now I'm feeling well. When I have sex with my husband l may spot blood aftewards, usually not the whole day, and I can spend some days feeling something like when you drink too much water. It will shake so I don't know what is going on. Please help - l went to the doctor for help she gave me pills only.

Hi Edith - congratulations on giving birth. Can you tell me what pills your doctor gave you? (Like what are the ingredients in it)? And what did they say about your symptoms? I've heard of spotting for some time after a pregnancy so this may be normal. Did you give birth vaginally of through a cesarean?

Thank you - l gave birth vaginally and the pills are Painamol Plus, Flagyl, Ferrous Sulphate + Folic Acid and Prednisone. But I don't know what it contains because its not written so my problem when I have sex l will feel something like water inside and just have a little spotting so doctor said those pills will help me for that matter.

Hi Edith - you have listed a few medications which your doctor gave you. I will list them and their corresponding use below:

Painamol Plus contains Paracetamol 500 mg + Codeine 8 mg. This is an opioid pain reliever. It can be potentially habit forming so check with your doctor if you are taking it for more than a couple weeks.

Flagyl contains Metronidazole. It is an antibiotic for treating bacterial infections.

Ferrous Sulphate + Folic Acid is a vitamin / supplement, most likely for your overall health and nutrition post partum.

Prednisone is a steroid drug generally used to reduce inflammation.
