Prednisone Overview

Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug that is particularly effective as an immunosuppressant drug. It is used to treat certain inflammatory diseases (such as moderate allergic reactions) and (at higher doses) some types of cancer, but has significant adverse effects. Because it suppresses the immune system, it leaves patients more susceptible to infections. how to take prednisone 10 mg
if the bottle says take 6 tablets a day for two days, then 5 tablets a day for two days, then 4 tablets a day for two days, then 3 tablets a day for 2 days, then 2 tablets a day for 2 days, then 1 tablet a day for two days, then 1/2 a tablet a day for two days. ## You should follow the instructions exactly as on the label, tapering is essential to prevent complications from withdrawing too fast, since this is a steroid class medication. You can take them all at once, or split them up throughout the day, taking them all at once may cause more side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

Skin rash, shoulder and arm pain, difficulty swallowing
Hello, my wife began a rash on her hand that spread to the arm and then the other arm, neck, and upper chest. Deep pain and weakness began about 2 weeks into the rash. Doctors were consulted in Comoros where we live, blood tests done. Even the doctors said testing is not good here so we traveled to Nairobi. 2 doctors, several blood tests and meds later she is still not well. Latest doc says muscle infection and prescribed Prednisone and Nexium. We are concerned about steroid side effects. Doc prescribed these because of a CPK level of 616. Thank you for any advice! ## Hello Chris! Who is your wife doing? What did they give her for the infection? Is she on an antibiotic? The steroid can cause some side effects, such as nausea, elevated blood pressure, acne and fluid retention, but usuall...

obeclox
I've just been on prednisone treatment and I can't seem to shed the pounds I gained due to taking the steroids for a temporal diseased I suffered. I was wondering if taking Obleclox would help me feel less hungry and with a healthy diet and exercise be able to go back to my original weight. Does anyone know if taking this pill is safe? Thanks for your help!! ## Obeclox contains the active ingredient Clobenzorex, which is available in the U.S. only by prescription. There is no medication that is really safer than any other, they all come with risks and dangers. For some people it has been very effective for weight loss, but not for everyone, which is the way any medication works. This is a stimulant that is used to help suppress appetite. It can cause side effects, such as: nause...

What is the maximum amount of time Prednisone can remain in your system?
Due to acute, severe Osteoarthritic shoulder pain, an Emergency Room physician prescribed one, 10mg/21 tablet medrol dose pak, of Prednisone (Prednisone is written in big bold black letters, on the yellow box), to be taken over a six day period, in equally divided doses, one less tablet each day: 6-5-4-3-2-1), along with a sling and NO X-Rays. I filled the prescription on Tuesday and started taking it, but by around 6pm on Tuesday, my shoulder was even worse! Having heard the news that another local hospital was better, I went to the alternate and "that" hospital ER physician (an M.D. this time, as opposed to a P.A., on Monday), gave me a much better sling, a swathe, as well, a "complete* series of shoulder X-Rays, and yet another prescription for the "identical" box...

comneslone
Is comneslone 20 actually prednisone ## Hi Boa, Unfortunately there are no drugs or medications that match the name "comneslone", so I was unable to get any results searching for it. Is this something you ordered from overseas? I saw another thread on here a while back, where someone ordered prednisone, but was actually sent something called comneslone instead. However like I said, it doesn't appear to be a real drug name. So unless it's an uncommon medication from a foreign country, I see no other reason why it wouldn't turn up in any search engines. Does anyone else recognize this drug? ## Yes Comneslone is Prednisolone IP 20. Manufactured by Combitic Global Caplet Pvt. Ltd. It's Generic. ## No it isn't. I got caught with this. am very familiar with Prednis...
