Generic Suboxone 54 375

Updated

Since I've been taking this new generic suboxone 54 375 it make my arms and hands hurt!! I've been taking suboxone for 3 years now, and I've been switched to most everyone that's came out. I was taking the orange with AN 415 on them. It's now been 7 days and everyday it does the same, causes pain in my arms and hands. Then as the suboxone wears off they stop hurting. I know it sounds weird but I swear it's the truth!!! Anyone else having problems with this new generic suboxone 54 375?? Please comment!!

Hello, Barry! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having.

It really doesn't make much sense, to be quite honest. If the new tablet was a little lower in the amount of the active ingredient, since there can be fluctuations, I'd attribute such symptoms to withdrawal, but that wouldn't go away and start back up the next time you take one.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Have you consulted your doctor? I think it would be best to have this checked out to get to the root of the problem.

Are you on any other medications?

When I first started taking the Suboxone films, I had intense pain throughout all of my joints (especially in my wrists). Every time I tried mentioning this to my physician, he would look at me as if I were insane. Nobody took me seriously or did anything to alleviate my pain, so I just had to deal with it until it finally subsided over 1.5 years later. I was just switched over to the Suboxone generic tablets today due to insurance reasons. I'm hoping the joint pain does not recur, but I will let you know if it does. I am happy to know that someone else has also experienced this issue.

Hey, I've been looking all over for answers. I just want you to know your not the only one. It doesn't make my arms hurt but it does make very sick and my pain has gotten worse. I take Suboxone for addiction treatment and pain management. I know allot the drug. I also run 10 miles every day. 10 miles just to feel better. So whoever out there says you can't get the natural high from exercising while you're on Suboxone they are completely and yes I really am saying this. For me the generic takes longer to start working takes a lot longer to dissolve even if it dissolves in 10 minutes you gotta keep it inserted under your tongue for 30 minutes to get the effect of the medication better. I am not talking about feeling high. I used to be horribly addicted to oxys which eventually led to the worst one. I tried methadone and here's what I say about that medicine - it's horrible. It's a legal synthetic version of heroin. Suboxone or just the blocker is the best close to go if you can't do it without touching anything. I've analyzed every generic Suboxone tab, all of them with the same results.

The pink ones the orange ones and the white ones with the moon on them. The medication works for about 12 hours. The strips work for 24 hours. The strips I only have to take one time a day. With the pills however, I have to take more. I've tried to take less to see if I was getting a Suboxone hangover but that want it. There is some additive they are putting in the generic pills, and that is why that cost so cheap compared to the strips. To be honest I feel like I've regressed on the pills I'm sick all the time. Everything morning I'm sick no matter what and I always wake up at 2-3 o'clock in the morning in allot of pain. I can prove that. I'm in really good shape I wear the Fitbit blaze and I talk my health because I exercise allot. I don't know why this is happening to me with the pills but I do know I'm not the only one. Everyone reacts differently I also have ulcerative colitis which has been acting up since I did the switch. These side effects are horrible. I've evaluated the strips and compared them to these. If I take the strips my pain is under control and I only need to take it once a day. The pills after a few days begin to make me incredibly sick.

I'm gonna try zubzolv because that one works buccally. I don't know what else to do. I am a college student and I know allot about this drug and all of the other ones. I know I'm not alone. I've been clean 2 years and I will not let generic Suboxone pills mess up my recovery. I was scared I would relapse because on top of the pain I had cravings again out of nowhere 20 months and not one craving then now all of a sudden it's happening. I exercise as much as possible I eat healthy I'm also in school all the time. I'm tired of taking this medicine if this is gonna be the result I feel worse on these pills than I did when I was taking Percocet after surgery. So to anyone out there struggling with them, I recommend trying the zubzolv I think that's what it's called. It dissolves buccally on the inside of your mouth cheek. I'm gonna ask my Dr to try these cause I've called him several times over the last 45 days telling him that I'm in trouble and don't want to relapse. His answer is to up the dose. I do not agree with his answer. Any insight would be helpful. With the strips I could take barely anything and taper off work these pills. I feel like I'm getting out of control. So I had some strips stashed away for emergencies which i'm now using. Now I'm having no problem what so ever. But I will run out. There had to be a better way. {edited for privacy}. Take care everyone... I've been going to more meetings lately. If anyone else is struggling and needs someone to talk to I'm here. Because I myself need that also. Until next time. Hope this information helps.

Re: Jimmy (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

Im right there with you Jimmy, ive been on subs strips for just over 2 years my subscription is 60 for the 30 days. I have no insurance so was tired of paying too much. They are 6.30 a peice at walgreens with coupon so i asked doc yesterday if i could get generic whit pills they are 4.23 a peice with coupon but i dont like them whatsoever i had to take 3 yedterday and three today and feel like crap. I know the strips started not to last as long and the orange subs pills worked much better was like when first started treatment. I was able to find a couple. They were better than both the strips and generic white at thid pace ill run out well before my next appointment. I filled 14 out of the 60 so im gonna talk to pharmacist tommorow( im lucky every person except for one person are realy nice and total profesionals) see what he or she says. If i have too ill go back to docs and get a new script because these white generic with half moons are awful id rsther pay the extra 120 dollars for the strips. I cant focus at work like i used to and feel like im almost sick but not. Dont know if that makes any sence but itz awful. Usaly i take one strip at 8 am then another at 5 pm and im working 9- 12 hrs no problems. Some days i only take one if im only working 6- 8 hr shift, now today i took 1st at 8 am then 2nd at noon and just another now at 6 pm. Dont get it. Let me know what you think.

Re: Heather (# 3) Expand Referenced Message

I had the exact same experience on methadone! It was intense pain - like a tightness - in all my joints. Especially in my hands, fingers, ankles toes, and especially first thing in the morning. It was bad enough that it took me an extra 20 minutes to get moving in the morning because it was that painful to walk. Same response from my Doc, too. Like I was insane. She attributed to not drinking enough water, but it started with methadone, and stopped when I stopped the methadone.

Not had that experience on subs, but I suspect it has something to do with how an individual's chemistry metabolizes certain opiates and opioids, and how those metabolites impact the individual. You and OP likely have the same response to certain off-brand subs as I do to methadone - or perhaps a specific binding agent, or chemical involved somewhere in the med processing pipeline...

Re: Tomservo (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

I feel the same way as you do on these generic peach pills. I'm shakey, dizzy, can't focus, nauseous, headache, sweating through all my clothes. Equilibrium feels off. I don't feel comfortable driving or working while feeling this way. I have to wait until tomorrow to talk to the pharmacy, because I'm unable to organize my thoughts right now and I don't feel comfortable talking.
I was on the name brand Suboxone strips for 5 years and I never felt this bad or had any side effects. I just felt normal. If my Dr. refuses to approve switching back to the strips then I'll have to detox from the 10 strips I have left. I never want to take the generic suboxone again. That's how awful it makes me feel. Good luck to you. Hope you were able to switch to name brand.

HORRIBLE.....I have been on Suboxone for a number of years. I couldn't care any less if its brand or generic white, orange, peach etc. HOWEVER, I have been switched to the "round orange ones (54 375)" and they are AWFUL, for the first time in YEARS, my legs are restless as can be (and even Neurontin doesn't help) and I find that I feel like I am going through acute withdrawal daily :( I am going to have to switch pharmacies or something and plan on speaking to my doctor at my next appointment, this is MISERY :( I would honestly have just assumed it was BS if anyone had told me that there would be a noticeable difference and think they were just a fiend) I don't know what they do differently but there is something and its HORRIBLE!

Re: Verwon (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

my old told me to let mine melt under tongue for at least 5 minutes and then spit it out! It works fine but not as many side effects.I didn’t want to but after a week I tried it and I was having headaches from the medicine and they reduced by 50% after i finally tried it. Make sure you have the smallest sip of water before taking it.
