Fill Oxycodone Prescription (Page 19)

Cannot fill them anywhere in Bradenton or Sarasota. Please help I have a real doctor and the pharmacy I have been going to the past year in my city says they will no longer fill out of county. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.

Thank you. I really was wondering what drug would work until the oxy's are available again. I have Humana insurance, and I hope they will agree to this prescription as well as the pain clinic doctor. I really appreciate your answer.

Methadone scripts aren't getting filled here in Hillsborough county either. My husband had to go back to the doc and tell them no one is filling this and they wrote him something else. But his reason for methadone is because he got addicted to hydrocodone, opiates. So what do they write him, morphine. Ridiculous!! I don't like seeing him in pain or withdrawal, so what is he to do.

What is copaxone and I have Medicaid and have appt for Aug 25 with my pain Dr and I know I can get percs but my back is killing me and have been thinking about fentenayl patch and something other than methane or morphine im allergic to both almost had heart attack on
Meth I haven't been able to fill oxys either 30 or 15 or dilaudid from my Dr since may. but all he dealers on the street have plenty and Miami is selling them 125 for 340.00 my hairdresser told me!! Tjats fricking ridiculous Miami has them for what we paid for them back two years ago at pharmacies. What is this world coming too????

ive beeen paying about 90 $ for 145 , 30 mg oxycodone with no ins from the same walgreens for the laast 18 months until may when they strarted tellin me they will no longer carry c2 medications .

If you are referring to me, senior-in-pain, I am in Volusia County. I did get my prescription refilled today. It has been mentioned that using the same pharm. and getting to know them, and them knowing you may be a bit of an advantage. At least in my case. My pharm. told me also, it will get worse, not better getting the prescriptions for oxycodone. I first used lortab for 2 years, and graduated to oxycodone 5m. three times a day. I now use the 15 mg.. 120 a month, at least for now! I am really worried about trying to wean off, but now that I know it's not going to be any easier, I can take a couple of months to taper off slowly instead of being in trauma after a" pharmacy crawl' with no results. Then, live the rest of my life in pain and/or misery as a couch potato. I have ordered some bepuzzled puzzles on the internet, and have a stack of reading material, and my sewing projects. I am ready to reduce my life to setting a LOT! I will blog as to how my tapering is doing, if it will help someone.

i went through complete withdrawl thanx to my old quack doctor and the dea making it so hard for legit people to get there meds. ive got a pharmacy but no doctors will see any patients from stuart pain. bullsh***
that should be against the law man...discrimination in its finest. my disability attorneys got me a doctor but in next county...does me no good.
your right since july 1 2012, ive been sick, home in bedridden, cant go out for more than couple hours before i have to lie down without my meds. keep positive attityude...things will get better someday as more of us do what the people in texas did last night...vote someone else in office thats a complete shakeup...only way to change things. once i get medicaid, etc...things will be better and i can move to a different county and out of moms home at age 40. sad that a surgeon did this to me but wont follow up with pain management. this country sux now and will only get worse. i hope the dea all get someone they love in a position like mine and cant get there meds so they know how we feel...and the governor...and pam bondi too...fuc***ng all of em...hope they get 24 pieces of titanium in there neck with a blown out gunshot jaw and tell me how they feel especially once they can get a normal life with meds and help and then 1 day just close shop and be on there own...rise up people and do whatever it takes to get these scumbags out of office...anything

well, some hopeful news. ANYONE who can respond to this greatly appreciated.
my disability attorney said each pharmacy has discretion within 90 miles. i live in vero bch and my doctor is in the next town/county line over and i called and talked to them and walgreens who said "come in with the prescription and well verify and that we cant talk over the phone at all about this rx" but they didnt say they WOULDNT fill it like they do here in vero bch. i explained my situation and that i live in vero, but my doctor is right round the corner from you(walgreens) in port st lucie and would you fill the rx even with me residing in vero bch and walgreens manager said we cant talk about it but bring the rx in and we will verify and go from there. thats better than a flat out no. so i will take the chance and goto my doctor and hope a pharmacy will fill it. even the doctor said the broward location people get filled all the time in broward where there main office is at a broward pharmacy as they know you cant take a prescription across to another county and fill it, they want you to fill it by the doctor office. so i will try and see what happens in 2 weeks. seeing is at least there may be a chance with the pharmacy not saying no flatout but to come in with the rx and go from there. this is so frustrating, since my quack doctor got closed in june 2012, ive had no meds, no quality of life so to speak, in pain, no life other than laying down and sleeping...cant go out, etc. i really hope port st lucie will fill the rx since the doctor is also in pt st lucie...its just my drivers liscence is the next town over in vero bch,fl in different county but maybe they will do it and will soon find out.
its almost like you need to break the law to get a rx filled now adays. theres no doctors doing pain management in vero unless you have major insurance and until my disability hearing in 6 months, i have no insurance except the limited benefits plan from blue cross that pays almost nothing(they turned me down for major coverage due to my neck/jaw surgery in 2010) so i got the limited benefits plan but no doctors here will take it and my last hope is my attorneys sent me to there doctor in the nere county about 10 minutes from me 1 town over from vero.
anyways hope this works...anyone know if i will get it filled being from vero bch in port st lucie? hoping someone out there has or is doing this now so to put my mind at ease. thanx

Rae, I'm in TN and have the same problem monthly at the same Rite Aid pharmacy in the Boro! It depends on the pharmacist, if it's Racheal the female pharmacist it's smooth sailing, if it's Larry the mail pharmacist...come back tomorrow! I hate it! I wrote a letter to the management at Rite Aid and the next day I had Larry calling and appologizing but when I went to get my script filled shortly after, I got the same problem from him! I've only been in PM since April,but every month I've had the same problem here in TN. I moved all my families scripts to Krogers on Middle Tennessee BLVD and have not had a problem with them yet. I want a pharmacist that I can get to know and talk to about side effects, not one that thinks they know what is best for me!

I got a scrip from a legit Dr. and tried every drugstore from FT Myers to Tampa and had no luck just a back that is aching more from all the driving. The Dr's just look at the slip and say don't have it. They don't check ID or anything.

But you can get on the Coviden Malikroft patient assistance program where you pay a 20.00 copay for oxycodone up to 90 pills for 30 day supply I know I have used it!! let me know I will send anyone who needs it the application.

Donna I know of a patient assistance program to get the oxycodone for a 20.00 copay and they tell you what pharmacy to go to even please get with me on facebook so I can fax you this application for you to pass on to everyone!!

There is a new one on 41 across from the Chinese place its right after I go over the old bridge from cape and its on the right hand side I have heard they are very cheap and taking all new patients. I use Apollo pharmacy on Cape Coral Parkway and if you go there tell Ashish Patel that i sent you there he is also very affordable and will work with you on what money you have to spend. There is also a patient assistance program yI have the application web address or the app itself I can send out fax email etc. If you use it all you pay is 20 but cant be over 90 pills for 30 day supply only bad thing. Please help. I can't get my script filled anywhere. I live in a different county than my doc - don't we all? Since I live in a small city there, there really aren't any pain mgt docs here - the doc we had was arrested, closed down and hauled off to jail. Anyway, no pharmacy will fill my script. I've been everywhere. Most look like they can fill it, then all of a sudden, they don't have it in stock or see it's an out of county script and say they won't fill it and tell me so in a very nasty manner. This is even pharmacies who know me. The pharmacy that always filled for me, got their license suspended or something and won't be able to fill for me anymore even if they get license back since this new rule. My question is, what is the point of this "we can't fill unless you live in same county rule" especially since they already have the prescription monitoring program in place watching us? Why will they not fill legitimate scripts? Before i moved to Florida, I also went to Pain Mgt and my doct was an hour and a half away. I had no problem filling my scripts then. I remember mom having to go to specialists who were in different states and having no problems back when we were younger. Many people travel out of town to specialists, some of us have to. This is not a rare thing. My children have certain medical issues and have insurance through their father, (which I don't) but they are often sent to anout of county to a doc that can see them with their insurance. So what is this rule for? Someone please explain. I understood the out of state people not being filled in Fla since they were trying to combat out of state drug trafficking, but when you can't get a script filled from a doc within your own state a county or two away, something is not right. What does this accomplish? So if you live in a city with no pain docs, you just can't get treated since your script won't be filled anywhere? This is ridiculousness!!. What have we become to were they are monitoring us and still we can't get our LEGIT scripts filled. This law or whatever it is , is only hurting legitimate pain mgt patients. I've already had to switch the meds I'm on since the oxycodone was way too expensive down here. Down here in S Florida, it's 6 to 10 dollars a pill if you can find them and now, get them filled! So the med I'm on now, while not as expensive, doesn't work nearly as well. I'm in constant pain but at least it's helped somewhat. The medicine that helps me are outta my reach cost-wise, now. In the last four years, they have raised the prices on pain meds so high in Florida it's outrageous. It's become supply and demand, they have limited the amount of pain meds a pharmacy can carry now, so it's very expensive to get pain medicines down here. Many pharmacies won't take insurance and now even major chains will not fill C2 meds thru mail order in Florida anymore. Again, who is this helping? Oh yeah, drug dealers and the filthy rich seem to be the only ones who can afford pain meds in Florida now. Evidently they are only ones who can't get their scripts filled too. There's still plenty of drug dealers down here, people getting arrested daily here. These laws have not helped anyone and have created a huge drug dealing problem. They are only hurting legitimate pain patients with all these stupid rules. What do I do? How do I get my LEGIT script filled? I'm in pan and withdrawing. What do they want? Us to end up at methadone or suboxone clinics? Or dead? I guess so. I will kill myself if I have to live in this pain much longer.

Kat your exactly right and we are all in the same or close to it in some shape or form. There is a rally planned to Tallahasse if I can get the gas enough important taking an sun load of us. I only pray the weather agrees with us since i know my pain is worse with rain as important sure most others are as well. I myself have not been able to fill since May. My Dr however has not been taken to jail that I know of and though your script is legitimately real the news of the writing is from a criminally detained Dr and no pharmacy wants to touch that. Im sorry to tell you that you may have to go to er and if you have the money find a new Dr asap give him or her the script you have and pray that Dr replaces it. I am also in s fl and my Dr is on east coast. I really feel for you and what you are going through but try to not get a sub or methadone script filled or else that will only lead you to more hassles later if you can get pain med pharmacy will use it as an excuse to not fill that you may be an addict. I have been in school for legal studies and have been on here for some time also Gonna will prob respond to your post very important person to know. I pray you get help asap and go through no more or sickness. God bless

Sorry for misunderstanding. My doctor was not hauled off to jail, but a pain mgt doc in my city was now all the pharmacies in the area are unwilling to fill legit narcotic scripts, as some of them I guess got in trouble for filling for the doc that was arrested. My pharmacy of 5 years that's been filling for me, is on suspended license now so they cannot fill and their back up won't fill because it's out of county script. No docs in county will prescribe due to the scare, so we can't get help here. My doc is fine and has a great rep, but is in another county. They will not fill my script here because of that or so they say and in my docs county cause I don't live there. I'd love to join the rally but without pain meds, I cannot get out of bed.This is why it's so hard for us to fight. It's like an abused child trying to fight against his abusive "pillar of the community" parents. No one listens to the kid. They do now, but back in my day, they didn't and kid was always wrong and had no rights. This is happening to pain patients now. Too small of a voice with not enough money to make things happen or something. I dunno. Strange because there are so many Floridians who have 2 residences either in state or one in and one out of state. So that we Floridians cannot get scripts filled in our own state is ridiculous. We need to know who to vote for in the upcoming elections and help elect those sympathetic to pain mgt patients. Everyone do your homework before voting.
