Call Purdue Pharma About New Oxycontin 80mg Op

This is the number to Purdue when calling select Opt # 2 and explain the adverse reaction that you are having from the new reformulated Oxycontin. The number is 888-726-7535. If the new type is working for you then great. I and several people I spoke with said it gets stuck in your throat even with food. Plus it does not last 12 hour. I understand why they re-made it kids should not take it and as far as how people take it snort, inject or chew its their business. Nobody should tell another ADULT how to live his or her life. It sucks to live in pain it really does. Good Luck All

I was prescribed oxycontin 80mg tabs 3x/day for 20yrs and I was able to live my life w/ very, very little pain only upon waking in the morning. My Doc, afraid of losing his licence rather than concern for his patient simply stopped prescribing. Now I cannot even walk my dogs as I never leave my home. After my tolerance grew, nothing helps - I take methadone to keep from being sick. I honestly never abused them & took them exactly as they were prescribed, 3 80mg doses, 3 times a day. I was functioning almost like an average person. Now, I barely leave my bed. Please, any help u can give me is greatly appreciated.

The new oxycontin 40mg do SUCK they take way to long to melt or they can come out in your stool like one did with me and they do not help my pain much at all. And I been through 6 failed lower back operations damage nerve scar tissue on nerve 5 deterioration disc upper back 3 severe multiple bone spurs and 2 bulging disc in my neck and the 40mg oxycontin SUCK!!!!!!!

Your so right as much as I love my med i had to give up the oxy and go to morphine because they don't last my doc thought I was crazy because i was in constant withdraw very uncomfortable and I don't think they're made right I think some of them lack the same amount of medicines like some of them work some of them don't so I had to switch to morphine which I could take 3 times a day its not supposed to be as strong but I felt like I was actually getting medicine and it wasn't like eating a piece of hard rubber. i think i could dissolve it in water. I think you have to be a chicken and have a gizzard to digest the new ones. morphine still crunches up, you just can't abuse it or whatever. I don't know what you do cuz they're the OP too. please don't but I was in constant withdrawal with the oxy cotton, the new ones. So I had to switch to the morphine. I don't care if anybody believes me, I wasn't med seeking. I wouldn't go from the oxy cotton to a damn morphine if I was med seeking.

Was given these OP things, following 160mg / day for about 10 years on the OC, the OP tabs made me violently ill, and DO NOT last more than 8 hours max, no way to get 12 hours on any size Mg. Good bet these were made to bump off the dumb IV OC user, I refused to take them, now on Fentanyl until I can get back on MS contin which worked fine for 12 years.

Hi, TJ, I was gonna ask you how you were but you answered it for me. Nothing new. At least nothing I get from here. Sorry but except for the junkies still looking for a way to snort/shoot the oxy's. It's a shame. About our pain, how the oxy's don't work etc. LMAO Haven't heard from WarWalker either. Hey, WW, give us a heads up on how you are doing. warwalker ,w-1 and all others just a quick hello been a tied up and haven't been on for quite some time and promise to check back and talk just hasn't been good lately are there other sites that you all communicate on or is it just sporadically on here?just asking because it seems like a lot of time passes by before anyone chats and believe me i am not on much anymore ,i like too but it gets too my back and before i can type out anything intelligent its off to the supine position to relax the tightness and pain relief should get a lap top but hell just bought my daughter one for school and you know how the money game works or does not work any way wish everyone and all a happy day and hope to catch up soon let me know of any alternative chat sites you all might be on peace

WW & TJ - Good to hear from both of yu. WW, when did the fire happen? No one was hurt I take it? I hope not, just ONE more thing to add to the misury huh? I have been seeing a psch, myself and she sure doesn't help. Calls me a victim, VICTIM, I think not. Maybe of big brother, Purdue and all the others that think it's all in our head as I have to sleep on my back everynight, it's not in my head! That's almost laughable. I've missed you and your level headed advise. Take are my friend!

A brief hello [W-1-thinking of you , stay positive as you can and out of the past; TJ; just caught up tonight], any others living daily facing the gamut of searing pain to drugged attempts at that which many of us will never attain - a day of functionality with cripplng pain gone.
So easy to say, but just keep hangin on..........I will get back at y'all soon~Tragedy follows me~no, just feels that way. I can't remember if I told U all, but I lost a portion of my house to fire Oct.1. Yes, have insurance, some know that when push to shove, their tactics, agents and gutless, pussified ways of dealing with human beings is disgusting at times. And I was not at fault. Still am not at home.
My Dr, said, 'You better get this thing settled up before you lose your progress, have a break-down or kill someone.' I told him I usually did not carry in his office just for that reason.
=) May B a while, TJ hang tight, W-1, B good. I will keep pushin. Others here> I had 9yr, w/Oxy-was a wonder drug for me, until the poison arrived. I recommend switch to different med. Please direct any support prayers to the "Please Fix that Dudes Trauma Faucet!!! It's leaking again bad!!

I think it may be worht starting a new 'spport' thread 4 those who need it or want advice or just a good ear....

WWKER sorry havnt been on for some time but thanks for your vote of confidence yes,i will try to get through this mess,it's just fcked they wont help unless you get behind then they just make more cash from fees and loan alignments don't we have anyone arbitrating our rights as second class purdue junkies trying to align this.I mean it's not like I decided to go out one night to have someone run me off the road on my bike only to leave me laying there!anyway i will try to stay in touch more often I also extend a more joyous new year to you and all.

TJ - I'm so sorry for the financial situation you are currently in. But PLEASE keep you chin up LOL, no don't do that, it will cause pain. But a lot and I mean a lot of people are with you. My own daugher (
WarWalker this is my OTHER daughter) she works full time and her husband does too. She HAD to file bankrupty and can't find any other place to go to get HER morgtage re-fi'd. It's rought out there and living in pain doesn't help. YOU WILL get through this. May God Bless You and YOURS at this time of year!

warwalker and wartin1 glad to hear your reply seems like the more you talk about the pain sometimes you put it out of your mind.just got my latest MRI results back and they are not good.tryin to keep the mortgage paid on disability is looking rough.And frikn WELLS FARGO home mortgage is of NO help even though I have kept the payments current somehow,and have a VA loan they wont help due to bad credit,which took big hits after my accident.I love the place and have lived here 13 years but things are lookin rough.oh well enough spoutin off for tonite i can only stay at the computer so long before im in agony will post more on a better day

WarWalker has answered alot of my questions and beliefs of what we can or can't do about this. I guess I have to tell you to just "suck it up". We CAN'T do anything about it.
