Will this be helpful for shoulder back and neck pain I get shots for all areas but they only take some of the pain away Biofreeze helps a little but only lasts a few hours If I put it on during the night I have to get up and wash my hands so they don’t go numb or I rub my eyes during the night Will this formula help my pain longer at night and during the day ## This is only a topical cream, so it really depends on what is causing your pain. It may not help with all types of pain. The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as skin redness, irritation, itching, and flaking. Have you tried it, yet? If so, how is it working for you?

Can bioflu which contains phenylephrine hcl, chlorphenamine maleate and paracetamol be taken together with robitussin dm which contains dextromethorphan hbr and guaifenesin? Please reply. Thank you so much for your help. ## HI, though they have different ingredients, you would essentially still be doubling up on the same types of medications, so no you most likely shouldn't take them both, unless your doctor instructs you to do so. Getting too much could cause some problems, such as worsening of the side effects. Additionally, since the Phenylephrine can act like a stimulant, adding it with the Dextromethorphan and the Guaifenesin that cause the opposite effect could be very detrimental. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Can i take robitussin softgel and bioflu at the sa...

Can I take Mucus Relief DM if it’s expired past a year or two? What do I do? ## Most medication don't become toxic, once they are expired, but they can begin to lose efficacy. Thus, the best thing to do would be to dispose of it, and obtain a new supply, if you still need to take it. The FDA's disposal methods state that you should put them in some undesirable substance, such as dirty cat litter, or coffee grounds, then place the mixture into a sealed container and dispose of it with your regular trash. What are the active ingredients in the medication you have?

What can replace Novahistine DMX cough syrup? Nothing helps now since they discontinued this syrup years ago. Taking them individually also doesn't work. DMX helped within 5 minutes. ## When you took them individually, were they in tablet/capsule form, or liquids? Since a cough syrup is liquid, it is normal for it to work fairly fast, but tablets, and capsules tend to take a bit longer to take affect. Novahistine DMX contained Dextromethorphan, Guaifenesin, and Pseudoephedrine, and this combination is available in a couple other products, as well, such as Robitussin Cough & Cold D, and Maxifed DMX. Your pharmacist should be able to help you find an equivalent. Has your doctor suggested any solutions? However, some combinations over the counter may have changed their active ingre...

Can I take mucinex dm and similasan mucus relief together? I have a severe head cold with lots of mucus. ## Hi Shelly, I'd like to be able to provide you with the correct information, but unfortunately there are no drug interaction checkers that compare pharmaceutical preparations and natural or homeopathic formulas (such as Similasan). In many cases, natural alternatives like this are used as an adjunctive therapy to other medications for additional relief. From my own personal experience I'd feel comfortable using the two together. However, I know medications can effect each individual differently, so you may just want to get a second opinion from your doctor first if you have any reservations regarding its use. I hope this helps!
