Phendimetrazine (Diet Tablets) during pregnancy
1 Reply RSS Share
Does anyone know of anyone who used Phendimetrazine (ingredient in MANY diet tabs with different names) during pregnancy? My pregnancy was diagnosed late and I used diet tablets containing phendimetrazine, which (possibly) has resulted in my child having severe developmental delays and other problems. The reason for her condition cannot be linked to any known disease, or disorder, genetic or otherwise. I therefore can only conclude that it is a direct result of the diet pills taken in the first trimester. Pls communicate anything (no matter how small) that may be relevant. Thank you ## Well, none of us here are doctors or scientists, so we can't possibly say for sure. I am sorry to hear of your plight, but there are just so many things that can cause problems with the fetus, that no... ...

meprate 10 mg tablets during third and fourth week of pregnancy

My wife happened to consume meprate 10 mg tablets (twice a day for 5 day) in the third and fourth week of pregnancy. The doctor prescribed it for getting normal periods. Since the pregnancy test proved negative at that time. But later it was discovered that she was already pregnant. Now the fetus is 7 weeks old. Hi. I just found out I am 3 months pregnant and I have been taking purbac but my dermatologist told me to stop it. Is my baby safe? ## Hello, Piwo! How are you? Since you are early in your pregnancy and have stopped taking it, the risks are not very high. Most medications cause greater risk, when taken during late pregnancy, as the baby develops more. However, this medication has been known to transfer through the placenta to the baby, as reported by the FDA, so please make sure that you keep all doctor's appointments, to they can monitor you for any possible problems.
