I am on oxymorphone er 15mg 3x a day, along with 30mg oxycodone break through 4x a day.....I live in nashville, I have no insurance, but with anyone with my problem with finding a pharmacy who carries the 15mg "moons" and not expensive. I got the place for u, I was paying $412 for 90 oxymorphone 15mg and $125 for 120 30mg oxycodone. I now pay $177 for 90 15mg oxymorphone and $55 for 120 30mg oxycodone and like I said, I have no insurance. And they carry the moons. But what I do to keep from WD is, I insufflate half a moon in the morning and it last me bout 5 hours, then I'll insufflate a 30mg roxi or take about 2 orally, then around 5pm I'll insufflate the other half of the moon and that keeps me going, every now and then, I'll take more, but I dont take as directed,...

I am a senior citizen and have had major back surgery, I live in melvindale, Michigan and cannot find oxymorphone 15mg anywhere, can someone give me a suggestion as to where to go to get them. ## Hello, Ronald! How are you? How have you been checking for them? If you're just calling pharmacies, you won't get an accurate answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the line is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. Thus, you actually have to physically go into the pharmacies, with the prescription in hand to check. Another idea would be to go to the hospital where you had your surgery and see if their pharmacy can fill it for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects...

What is the difference in between the oxymorphone with the half moon and the oxymorphone with g67or g76 on them ## Hello, Herman! How are you? I understand that this can be confusing, especially if your pharmacy doesn't inform you, so I'll gladly clear this up for you. There is no difference, other than they have been manufactured by different companies. Since this is a generic medication, which one your pharmacy has in stock can vary, depending on which company was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. It's how they help keep prices down for uninsured customers. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Are the moons er or ir ## The "moons" are the Actavis brand of the 15mg Oxymorphone ER and the G## are the Global brand o...

Pictures oxymorphone imprinted with cresent ## Hello, Shades! How are you? Those would be tablets manufactured by Actavis Pharmaceuticals. They have a gray 7.5mg ER tablet with the numbers 261 on one side, a white 15mg ER tablet with the numbers 262 on one side, a yellow 40mg tablet with the numbers 230 on one side, a tan 20mg ER tablet with the numbers 229 on one side, a pink 30mg ER tablet with the numbers 263 on one side, an orange 10mg ER tablet with the numbers 228 on one side, and a pink 5mg ER tablet with the numbers 227 on one side. Do any of these match the tablet in question? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I get a bit confused. I was taking Norco 7.5/325 every 8 hours and now taking Oxymorphone HCL ER 15mg every 12 hours. Should I take them at like 8 am & 8 pm and then the same the next day? To keep it on even times? That way I can mark it off on my appt. book. ## She told me only 2 per day, and that was it! ## I had a stroke and memory loss, and I just wanted to make sure I could keep myself on a schedule. ## Hello, Sam! How are you doing? Yes, that's fine and the best way to take them. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is oxymorphone 15mg comparable in strength to morphine 30 mg? ## Hello, Bart! How are you? Actually, the 15mgs of Oxymorphone is stronger, it is actually equal to 45mgs of Morphine. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been taking 10mg. Oxymorphone E.R. 2 x daily for a few years now. Just recently I was notified by both my pharmacy and Pain Management Dr. that they are no longer available by the manufacturer. The pharmacy who told me this was Walgreens. I have a script for 90 oxymorphone 15 moon's,does anyone know where I can fill them? Help! ## Yes but they cost a fortune. It is called Greenbrier Pharmacy and I paid over $600 for only 60 of them there. The high price is probably the reason they always have them. I have also found them at Walgreens and they are much cheaper (only $140) but walgreens is funny about controlled substance scripts nowadays. ## where in nashville can i get my oxymorphone 15 er filled? i have looked everywhere and cant find any.Help! ## Does anyone know if Bradleys drugstore on Charlotte Ave., Nashville tn Carry moons ## does anyone no if u can get 10mg oxymorphone moons? all I've ever found is the g72 orange ones ## I pay $177 for 90 oxymorphone er 15mg @ walgreens, they carry the moons, Iwas paying ...

what is then dosage for oxymorphine er15 vs opana 40mg? ## Oxymorphone is the active ingredient in Opana, so the base dosage would be the same. The only difference in war you've listed is that the ER designates that one as being a time released formulation, rather than a regular release like the other one. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I don't understand your question. Opana 40mg is extended release and oxymorphone 15mg ER is the generic version of Opana 15mg ER. So the only difference is the strength as there is no such thing as instant release Opana 40mg. The only IR version of Opana is 10mg, which is available as the generic oxymorphone 10mg. I hope this answers your question, if not, please repost your question and make sure your last post was what you meant ...

Need pill to replace discontinued 15mg er opana ## Oxymorphone is the generic version of Opana and comes in 15mg ER. My doctor didn't even know that the med was no longer available under the name Opana any more, and neither did the pharmacy. ## Generic Opana ER is now available from Impax. You need to call your pharmacies to see if they will order it. Impax just started delivering to the rep companies 1/4/2013. This info is for people who really have health problems, not people who want to just for other reasons. Please leave it alone. You all mess everything up for people who need it for health reasons. ## One piece of information that I'd like to add though... Under the drug laws, there are limits to how much of any controlled substance a pharmacy can order and stock in any mo...

can you take opana and Naproxen sodium together. the naproxen sodium is in midol ## Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone and there aren't any interactions listed between the two that I can find, but you should check with your doctor, or pharmacist to be certain. However, you should be aware that sometimes NSAIDS, such as Naproxen can potentiate the effects of narcotics, so you may experience worse side effects, such as the dizziness and drowsiness. Are there any other questions or comments? ## More to the point: exactly how reckless are you? Opana is a Schedule II narcotic pain-reliever. I can't imagine any doc prescribing it in tandem with Naproxen of any type. If you're shaving painful menstrual periods, see an ON-GYN. Most of us like practicing medicine so muc...

I have my script of 15mg er oxymorphone count 120. Does any know where to get these filled.. No pharmacist around me seem to have them. ## People have been having trouble finding them all over the U.S. right now. There has been no official word on why, but there are 2 possibilities that may explain it. The first is that some rumors have been circulating that it is due to new and stricter changes in the regulations regarding how much a pharmacy can keep on hand at any given time, which is making them be more choose of whose prescriptions they fill. As I said, however, this is just a rumor. The second possibility is one that I have witnessed before and usually crops up every year around this time, it is due to a shortage that has been caused by the mandatory manufacturing limits. To expla...

Hello. I have been on 25 mcg of fetanyl patch every 48 hours for 9 months and 15mgs of oxycodone 4 times daily for breakthrough pain. I am thinking about getting off of the patch. How much Opana or (Oxymorphone) would be the equivalent of 25mcg of the fentanyl patch? How much Opana or (Oxymorphone ER) would be the best dose to switch to with no withdrawals? ## Hello Gia! How are you? Is the patch helping? Why do you wish to stop using it? You need about 2.8mgs of Oxymorphone to be equivalent to each 25mcg Fentanyl patch, but there are going to be differences in the time release duration, and dosing frequency. On your doctor can help you decide if your doing so would be safe for you, and the best way to do so. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, an...

All of you out there investigating the half moon pills. Actavis makes a white round pill with a moon on one side and the #262 on the other. Be careful, these are oxymorphone 15mg. Used for pain. ## Hi June, Thank you for taking the time to share this information. For anyone else needing a second opinion, I can also confirm that these are identified as 15mg Oxymorphone hydrochloride tablets made by Actavis. However it should also be noted that they are in "extended release" form as well. For verification, the National Drug Code on these tablets are 00228-3262. You can learn more about this medication on the page for Oxymorphone Details Does anyone out there have personal experience or feedback from using this particular brand?

Description Of Generic Oxymorphone ER ## There are several on the market, since it is available in different dosages, but to provide you with some examples... A round, gray pill, with the number 261 on one side and a logo that looks like a moon on the other is 7.5mg tablet. A round, white pill, with the number 262 and the same logo is a 15mg tablet. Do either of those match the tablet you are questioning? ## It's a crying shame that the Big Shots in charge can have a say in who makes what meds and who gets what. For them to tell Endo to stop production on Opana is quite a joke! I bet if they were the one's in pain they might be thinking a lot different! It is sad that people die from overdose, I wish they would put out the numbers on the people who have died or just overdosed th...

I came across a pill that was supposed to have 15mg oxycodone and 15mg morphine in same pill. It is round white with 262 on one side, and what looks like a crescent moon design or whatever on the other side. What is it, and is the above pill even manufactured? ## There is no such combination pill in the U.S. What your tablet contains is 15mgs of Oxymorphone, it is not a combination of both, but it is a narcotic analgesic. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dry mouth. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with? ## Its actually called oxymorphone is the name of it. ## Umm I'm a little late but oxymorphone contained both oxycodone and morphine!!! I used to take it! ## Wrong. Oxymorphone (or Numorphan®) is an opioid agonist and is composed of only on...

Here is my problem. Been in pain management since March 2014 when I was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease in both feet and had right leg amputated. So my PCP found me a pain clinic and was prescribed 120 Roxicodone 30mg + 90 Oxymorphone ER 15mg. I was at pain clinic up till March 2015 when they shut down. My Dr @ pain clinic that shut down, found me another pain clinic. I've been going to this pain clinic since March 2015 till present (October 2015) my first visit the NP dropped me down to 90 Roxi 30mg and kept me @ 90 Oxymorphone ER 15mg, which I was fine with. Of course being new to this pain management it was hard losing that 1 extra pill. My next visit, i brought my bottles because I get a 30 day supply but go every 28 days. I need a list of pharmacies in kpt,tn that carries generic opana er in 10mg and 15mg ## I used to be able to obtain Percocet 10/325 now my local drug stores carry Oxycodone which they say is exactly the same formula as the Percocet. I know the drug stores pay less for this substitute but the pills do not seem to work the same for my back pain. I live in Sonoma county and if any one knows a pharmacy that dispenses Percocet I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks. ## Anyone know a pharmacy around Knoxville, tn that carries oxymorphone 5 mg.? ## Have you tried red bali kratom? It works wonders & it's for pain. I was on 100 mg of Kadian twice a day for 7 years and got switched to 20 mg of Opana three times of day. Also, I was on 15 mg of Morphine 4 times a day and was switched to 4 mg of dialudid 4 times a day. I want to know if these dosages are equal to my old medicine dosages. ## I don't believe these are equivalent dosages, more over because Morphine is the active ingredient in Kadian. In which case you had taken 100mg twice a day (200mg/day) and later dropped down to 15mg four times a day (60mg/day). That's a pretty significant difference in and of itself, not taking into consideration the Opana or Dilaudid fixtures. As far as Opana (Oxymorphone) and Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) goes, these are two different drugs with different levels of potency/pain relief, so cross-comparing the tw...
