I had a MI on Jan 24th of 2016 and had a DES inserted. I have been on plavix for 9 months and the side effects are destroying my life. I am still taking aspirin. But have stopped plavix. It's been 2 days. I want to use Nattokinase instead of plavix. Has anyone used this and should I use it with aspirin or stop the aspirin and just take the NATTOKINASE? I can hardly function on plavix as it makes me feel very weak causes confusion. Everything goes bad when I take it. I told my cardiologist it was making feel like I wanted to die and thought it was other scripts I was on which I no longer take. BP is perfect and diet improved. Plavix and aspirin is all I am on and when I stop taking the plavix I feel normal again. When I try to take it again out of fear of dying from clot forming on m...

I have had PE and am factor V Leiden. I used xarelto for six months but it made me suffer anxiety and breathlessness and depression, stiffness in joints. I swapped to eloquis and found the side effects are not so extreme but still there... Memory problems, joint pain , slight headaches and tiredness. Warfarin is sounding good ! Have heard about a herbal product called nattokinase that should be researched by drug companies. Sounds like a winner. Natural and no side effects. As I am 61 I would like to use something that I can use and stay healthy on! ## Hello, Caren! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problems you've had. However, all medications carry the risk of causing side effects, even natural herbal products. The difference is that since they've not been studie...

I was started on Warfarin in May 2016. Dx: Pericarditis w Afib. Mid July 2016, I had a ruptured foot tendon accompanied by severe nerve pain in feet & tingling in my lips. I spoke with the doctor on call & was told it could not be the Warfarin. In June 2017, the joint & nerve pain & toe pain became so severe that I stopped the Warfarin & started Nattokinase. Yes I have been on Metoprolol & realize that can have the same side effects, but my question is specific to Warfarin. Thank you for having this great chat line. ## Yes, those can be side effects of Warfarin, according to FDA reports. It may also cause nausea, dizziness, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. As to Nattokinase, that is just a supplement, so it has not been tested and proven to help wit...

I am 67 and have afib. I am put on eliquis, but ever since I have been on eliquis I am having very bad lower back, hip, shoulder, ankle etc. pain!! I will be having an ablation in the very near future. When my heart returns to normal I will stop eliquis. I will be taking Tattokinase. It is a natural enzyme that gets the job done without the side effects. Please reserch about the benefits of nattokinase on the internet and get educated about it; it would take me too long to explain things about it here. And tell your doctor about it, demand that he would look into getting informed about it instead of pushing dangerous pharmaceuticals on you!! Nattokinase is a very effective blood thinner, it is natural with NO side effects. Since no body makes big money from it, it is discouraged by big ...

First, you need to find out why you are getting the clots especially if it does not have to do with an injury. I had two episodes of clots on my lungs and God left me here. The hospital did not want to do testing to find out why I was getting clots, there were no injuries. First they put me on coumadine, made me sick, skin turned gray, muscle weakness, boils under the skin, then xareltosimiliar side effects. My doctor did a MHTFR (methyl deficiency) which is b12 folate or colbanim deficiency and a genetic factor which may have caused my mother's heart attack at 50. Google this look at family history request, no demand the blood work up, insurance pays also homocysteine levels, important, if high may me causing you problems. Second Google nattokinase and serrapeptase, natural blood t...
