imprint 324 blue round, scored but blank on other side

I found a pill and need to know what it is. Does a opioid 30 mg have 324 on it? ## Hi Chicky, After doing a lot of digging on the internet, I couldn't locate an exact match to your pill. Pretty much all of the closely related descriptions and images I saw were of oblong or capsule shaped pills. The lack of available information leads me to believe that your pill falls into either one of the following categories: discontinued, Illicit, over-the-counter, or of foreign origin. Is it something that could've been brought back from overseas? ## Warfarin 3mg is blue with same number on the front

Blue pill A324 on one side, R and a thin crescent moon on the other

Can someone please help me identify these pills? They are blue-speckled pills with an R and a thin crescent moon on one side and A 324 on the other with a score between the A and 324.... Thank you ## Hey I've got the same pills. They were marketed as 10mg Valium, however I don't trust them and rightly so as I can't for the life of me trace them. The closest I got from searching was that they are black market, so could have benzodiazepine in them or none at all. A pal of mine was willing to try one and he said he felt a short lived effect. His UDS came up positive for benzos but to be fair he did take a 20mg temazepam too. I know it's not much to go on. I don't recommend black market pills as you don't know how much of the active ingredient is in each pill. I'...

Warfarin and Damiana

Does anybody take Damiana and Warfarin, and would there be any interaction between the two? I have tried Maca with Warfarin but my INR was 5.1. ## In my personal investigation, there appear to be no drug interaction studies between pharmaceutical preparations and most OTC herbal supplements; including Damiana. That said, the general consensus is to talk with your prescribing doctor before adding any herbal supplements to your prescription regimen. You could also try consulting a naturopathic physician who understands how certain plants function in our bodies (via their mechanism of action) relative to blood thinners such as Warfarin. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but it's best to be on the safe side, especially if you're going to be on Warfarin for any extended length of...

Warfarin and Pain Medications.

I understand that it is alright to take Tylenol when on Warfarin which I am doing but for awhile taking Tylenol did actually effect my INR results and the Warfarin dosage had to be altered accordingly. I have been diagnosed with Bursitis and the Tylenol is not helping at all but I hesitate to try any other pain medication if there is one that is compatible with Warfarin. Seems to me when on Warfarin there are so many limitations. ## There are others you can try, if your doctor approves, they just have to be ones that don't cause additional blood thinning, such as Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Morphine, or other opiates. The NIH warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Only your physi...

Coumadin vs warfarin

My mom was on coumadin for many years but then her insurance company told her she had to take warfarin as this is the one they would pay for. Is there really any different in these two drugs? It seems to me that she has been having more problems with the warfarin (keeping this medication at the right level) than the coumadin. I was told they were the same medications and do the same. I just wanted to know if some people have difficulties taking warfarin vs coumadin??? Thanks. ## No, they work exactly the same for me. I have been taking one or the other for 3 1/2 years because of 2 pulmonary embolisms. I take 10mg a day. At times I go up and down but have been steady for a couple months now on warfarin. Food will change the way it works. Salads and some other greens really mess things up...

Does Garcinia Cambogias Interact With Warfarin

Is taking Garcinia Cambogias contraindicated for people taking Warfarin? Thanks Pat ## Hi Pat, Based on my research, when it comes to most herbal supplements, the drug interactions with prescription drugs are not well known until they have been around a long time. The majority of herbal supplements are usually well tolerated and don't interact but it's impossible to know for sure. If I can make any suggestions, it would be to let your doctor know that you are taking this supplement and to monitor any side effects while taking the Garcinia Cambogias and Warfarin together. If it were me, I would just take some notes based on how I'm feeling after starting the supplement- just to be aware of any odd changes that might occur. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Wa...

Has anyone heard of any drug interactions between Flomax and Warfarin? ## I haven't been able to find any interactions listed by the FDA, or NIH, so far, but it is always best to double check to be careful. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Flomax as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, and urinary retention. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank You :) It has caused my INR to go higher. I get it checked every week.
