I take Lisinopril -HCTZ-20-12.5 mg twice a day. I noticed on my refill bottle It says Lisinopril 20 mg twice a day. Is that the same or should they be cut in half two times a day or should I call the doctor. Will this cause my heart rate to be higher and blood pressure to higher?. Thank You ## Did your doctor change your prescription? The original contained Lisinopril with Hydrochlorothiazide, while the new one, according to what you've listed, only contains the Lisinopril. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. It is always best to take the one your doctor has directed you to take. Is there a chance your pharmacy made an error?

what are the side effects of lupin, 20 mg ## How do we administer these pills & what are the possible side effects? How long can it be used? ## I've been taken Lisinopril 20 -12.5 mg twice a day. I noticed on my refill bottle it says Lisinopril 20 mg twice a day. Do I cut them in half? Will this mg cause my heart rate to to be faster and blood pressure to be higher? I have a 75% per. in my heart now. Do I call the doctor? ## Lisinopril is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Lou, if it says to take it twice a day, that would mean you should take a full tablet twice a day, but it is always best to check with you...

Are Nefrosave and acetysteine & taurine of lupinac both good for my mother who is 66yrs old and suffering from a urinary infection? Pls reply. ## Hello, Tanvi! How are you? Was she not placed on an antibiotic? That would be the best thing to help resolve her infection. The U.S. FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. As to those you've mentioned, they are just nutritional supplements, making sure you take enough of them can help support healthy kidney function, but will not do anything to eradicate an existing infection.

What would happen to a Jack Russell dog, 15 lbs, if he ate one lipin 20mg by accident? ## Hello, Driver 5518! How is your pup? In such cases, it would be best to consult a veterinarian, I'm not very familiar with the use of most medications in animals. Did he suffer any adverse effects? Which medication did he take? Lupin is just the name of a manufacturer, not a drug, so I can't identify it just with the information you've provided. However, many drugs are used in humans and dogs, it's just the dosages that change. ## Yes, my dog had seizures, it's really weird that the last 3 times a particular person was visiting with me over the last 3 years, this has happened and I found these type pills on the floor by the bed, the pill is round and pink in color. On one side i...

I just picked up my prescription from a mom n pop pharmacy. Seems like every other month they have a different manufacturer. Trust me I know - they buy the cheapest brand lot available at the time. But these new ones I just got are horrible. They're produced by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. They are blue in color and HARD as a rock!!! When I visit the website they keep comparing themselves to Mallinckrodt. I used to get Mallinckrodt before I switched to the new pharmacy and they were by far the best. But just be aware these new ones by Lupin SUCK so check your pills before you leave the window and request different ones. You'll thank me later. ## Interesting. Thanks. The Mallinckrodt Adderall are awful so I would have been worried about their pain meds. ## What difference is it if they...

Medicines taken since 1 wk :Lupin's Katadol Caps 1-0-1; Rejoint Tablets 1-0-1; Nervmax Capsules 0-0-1; & Uprise-D3. Plz let me know NOW by e-mail which medicine needs to be stopped so as to avoid decrease in libido & erectile dysfunction. Thanks.. ## You absolutely MUST talk to your doctor first ! He/she is the best resource for this type of problem. If you dont trust your doctor to be truthful with you - find a doctor you trust. We are strangers here, we do not know your specific history, but I do know that you are correct. I am a woman and some of those medications affected me the same way, it was very disheartening as well, but you must work with your MD , don't just stop taking them - that alone could kill you. then you'll never have to worry about ED ever again

does this pill make you have cramps and swelling of the legs? ## Hello, Ethel! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Lupin Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Pravastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol. Yes, the FDA does list those as being among its possible side effects, along with nausea, headache, dizziness and joint/muscle aches. However, there are other conditions that could also cause edema, so it would be best to have it checked out to be sure. Is there anything else I can help with?

In the US I am prescribed Xifaxan 550mg made by Salix Pharmaceuticals twice daily to prevent hepatic encephalitis (very dangerous disorder caused by liver disease). The problem is this drug costs $1,800 USD per month, which I cannot afford. However, through reputable Canadian pharmacies carry Rifaximin 550 mg made by Lupin Limited of Idia for only $130 USD per month. My best research seems to indicate that these are the exact same drug but that Lupin licensed the US sales and marketing rights to Salix, thus the dramatic price differential. Can anyone confirm that Rifaximin 550 is the EXACT same drug as Xifaxan 550? My life depends upon finding an affordable and safe substitute. Thank you for any assistance regarding this matter. ## Hello, Mark! How are you? Yes, they are the same, Xifax...

How are you doing? I am sorry that you are feeling so miserable. Has there been any change? Have you consulted a dentist, or oral surgeon? I think that would be the best idea, in order to get to the root of the problem. As to Amoxicillin, they are not time rel...

My pharmacist changed my generic Ramipril manufacturer and told me it was Watson. He claimed it was the "best" and had a great reputation. I found 2 other listings, never Watson. Is this just the same old line when it's really the pharmacy's bottom line? ## There's really no telling who the manufacturer is unless you're able to provide a pill imprint and description to look up. Listed below are the Ramipril manufacturers I personally came across after looking at various pills, but it may not be all of them (I have yet to see Watson as well): Cobalt Laboratories Inc Roxane Laboratories, Inc. Apotex Corp. Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Dava Pharmaceuticals Inc. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Inc. InvaGen...
